Springfield recently changed the roll marks on all of their 1911s, the 10mm Elite Operator has the newer style.

That is one good lookin’ 1911.

Are those sights fiber optic? I see a hint of what looks like orange fiber on the top of the front sight.

I’m sure it will shoot well. I had a SS SA full size 9mm that I got 17-18 years ago and it was a sweet shooter. Never had any malfunctions whatsoever.

I ended up giving it to my brother when he did a lot of things to help me out of some jams.

Boy I miss that gun. And my brother too, R.I.P.

I had the same gun, just in the Range Officer Operator configuration before the Elite Operator came out. Best 9mm 1911 I've ever owned. That thing ran like a Singer sewing machine and was so smooth and easy to shoot. Congrats on a fine purchase!

I love mine. Added a dot to help my old eyes and Herrett HB-1 stocks since I prefer their feel.
