Where to buy a set of T star screwdrivers?

Used some wiha they were pretty good, think they go down to t-3. The older craftsman ones were good but don't think anymore. The small ones are easy to break and wear fast, but driver maybe better.

I get a bunch of hits at Amazon by entering t4 driver. They're there, but I am sure they are very delicate. Kershaw makes a driver tool but it only gets as small as T6.

Not all hits have a T4, but many go down to T3.

I've got the Kershaw tool, but yeah, I don't think it goes as low as T4. I'll check when I'm home tonight.

You may have better luck finding a set of Torx Bits which go thru all the sizes, they usually come with a small driver adapter which fits a drill or screwdriver.
I agree, dedicated drivers, with solid handles are HTF.

Probably the highest practical quality option out there.

I took my own advice and purchased the set that I linked to in #11 above. It seems well machined and plated. The tiny bits are clearly marked. I hope I don't ever need the T2 or T3, as it would take a microscope just to engage the fastener.

I stumbled across a T set built like a folding Allen wrench pack. It was wonderful until I stripped out the common sizes. Luckily the forged tips were able to be ground down 1/8” or so and still work 90% of the time. If I ever find them again I will buy a spare set. Too bad they dont have a name on them, but I suspect they are a harbor freight or traveling tool circus special.

The key word search you need to use is "precision torx drivers".

"Precision" will get you the smaller sizes.

I MAY have a set of precision Craftsman Torx drivers in my desk. A year or so ago I ran across them at a Sears down home and they were pretty cheap...so I bought several sets. I think I still have two sets in my desk. If so, and if they're the size range you need, you can have one. I'll let you know.

Wiha is my go-to for precision screwdrivers. They are hands down the best I've ever used. I have a set of phillips and flathead tweekers by them and have bought several sets as gifts. I wouldn't hesitate to add this to my bag-o-tools if I didn't already have a decent set of small Torx drivers!

Or if you're ever in doubt get snap-on. Never cheap but the strength and quality is top notch. if you don't know where to buy, go to whoever fixes your car and ask when their snap on guy comes if they'd get you what you want.

OK, just checked.

Craftsman 941105. 5 piece mini star screwdriver set.

T5 through T9...no T4 or T3.

If this will work, though, you can have them. I had two sets in my desk.

I have 2 sets of the USA made Craftsman small Torx sets. They were cheap from Sears a few years ago but probably not the same ones anymore since craftsman moved to China made not long after. They have worked fine for using on my Bucks
