Looking to pick up some more bullets for range work. I really like the coated lead and found some 155 and 170gr coated LSWC's. I want to use them in My 10mm and my .40 S&W

I know they will work fine in my 10mm revolver but am not sure about feeding in my semi auto 40's and looking for input. anyone try successfully to use LSWC in semi autos?

Thank you in advance for any opinions and guidance!

I tried some SWCs in my 9mm Star BM. They fed fine but were inaccurate. Whether the inaccuracy was due to the bullet or the loading or the rifling in the pistol, I don't know.

LSWC is about all I shoot in my 1911. Every pistol is a little different when it comes to feeding SWC. Some choke on them and some never have a problem. A lot of times you have to adj the OAL to find out what your guns likes. I would buy a small quantity and try. If it works you can always buy more.

Been shooting LSWC bullets in my 1911s for 40 years---if loaded properly they work fine.

As a general rule I find about a thumbnails width of lead above the brass casing is a good pace to start when trying to get a LSWC bullet to feed in all calibers of auto pistol ammo. Once the rounds feed work up your load.
