I've been off for some time but before leaving, RC had passed and the loss was sorely noted almost every day.

Art being gone is almost equally noteworthy to me.

It's an interesting (relatively) modern thing that an electronic acquaintance can have so great an impact shown by its loss.

Their influences here - whether passive or active - were shown to be quite staggering by their loss.

Todd.

I've seen Arts name and information all over the place over the years of combing through the web reading about guns and stuff. I didn't know him personally but he sure did make his way around and shared alot of information. Impressive knowledge. Rest in peace.

Well.

Thats a damn loss.

What do you say?

He talked the talked, and walked the walk.

Lots of folks benefitted from the talk, a few i hear from the walk.

See ya at the Mead table, SIR.

This morning I learned about the passing of longtime member and mentor Art Eatman. Art was a heck of a guy, a hell of a story teller and a vast repository of knowledge. He was generous, kind, quick witted, but did not suffer fools. Though he was always ready and willing to teach and educate instead of belittling. We could all learn from that.

Art will be missed. The world is now a dimmer place without him. God speed good sir.

Indeed.
