I have a couple of Normarks like AG's. They are comfortable in the hand, but being nylon they're not intended for heavy use.
That super swede is dead sexy! There were not a lot of good folder options back in those days, and I always thought I should have one of those. If only my revenue stream had been more robust!

For comfort and handling the top piece ("Super Swede") offers the best grip.
The middle one ("Big Swede") is surprisingly good for grip and control. You'd think that lock release would get in the way, but it really doesn't.
The bottom one ("Little Swede") isn't too bad, but the handle is a bit small and it's a slipjoint, so no lock. Still, not a bad knife, but not my preference.
The Normark branded EKA folders mostly had hard plastic handles. They would take a beating, but the softer rubber handled versions gave better grip and control. The wood handles (Bubinga, African rosewood) are my favorites.
Sadly, I've never found a Super Swede with a wooden handle. I have one that's heavily used, the lettering is almost worn off the handle, and it's still tight and sharp.
The "Big Swede" is also known by its EKA branded name, the Swede 60. I have both the Normark hard plastic handles and the Bubinga wood handles. Delightful knives. (I've even got a green handled L.L. Bean version.)
What's not in that photo is the first Normark/EKA piece I bought, the Normark name was American Hunter (softer rubber handle), the EKA name is Swede 92. I have that in both three soft handle and the Bubinga wood.
Of the four patterns, it's my favorite. I'll have to dig one up for a photo.

Well, I never really tried to have a "collection," it just kind of happened as I explored the world of personal cutlery and tested stuff.
I bought one just to see what I was missing. Made a salad with it. Wad totally impressed. Went back to the store and bought the remaining stock. Total of six pieces of various designs. Priced at $17, having been marked down from $20 after 14 years on the shelf.

The Super Swede's lock release is on the tail end of the handle.
Also true of the Swede 92 and the Nordic T8. It's a very robust lock.

That's the lock release lever. Which, as it happens, also has a lanyard hole.Here's my original Swede 92 with that same lock.
