What is the last gun that you bought?

I don't know if this counts as buying a gun, but I just ordered all of the parts to build a 9mm AR.
No, it doesnt count , your cutting out the "atf"man, how is the government supposed to know who has what and how many if we all just go out and "order parts" to build a awesome gun...be a proper "sheep" and return the parts and order the gun you want from a bonafide retailer...jeese.. man your gonna get us all in trouble

I just needed a bunch of paper weights.

Haven’t technically “bought” it yet, but I’m picking up and paying for a Smith & Wesson 629 44 magnum 6 inch barrel half lug on Tuesday. The gun store was willing to price match an online deal I found and I didn’t have the cash on me, so they said they’d hold for me; Tuesday is the first day they’re open of the week.

While there I also got to fondle a new Python 4 inch barrel, someone had already claimed it :(. I did say I would take it on Tuesday in lieu of the 629 if the buyer didn’t want it as the clerk stated the buyer was already several days late paying for it and picking it up.

Well..if memory serves me right, and im not sure it does after that fking china virus, ive posted a pic of this when i orderd it.

Now, its here and ive hunted with it a few times too.

After much research and stuff, I finally decided to get me a H&K VP9 SK. I went to my LGS yesterday afternoon and came out with this one. No range time yet, naturally, but stripped it, Nano-oiled the parts that should be oiled and rubbed the outside with Sentry Tuf-Glide. (Very hot and humid nowadays in my neck of the woods, already.) This thing I consider a beauty and it fits my hand better than my hand fits my arm. Couldn't be more pleased at the purchase, and I know that it will do just great at the range. 49986660152_2c263749c9_b.jpg

My wife was highest bidder at an auction last week and today we picked up her new (old) baby.
A Colt SAA 2nd series from 1975 in used but very okay condition. Barrel is scratched but as we are shooting all our weapons and don't have any save queens it doesn't really matter to us.
I don't know if the trigger has seen some work but it is GREAT. Maybe it was like that in the 70s?
Ammunition needs some fine tuning but from first shooting I can't say I'm not happy. It shot 6" groups and I think 4" is possible with some work at the reloading press.
Wife's even more happy. Couldn't wipe the grin from her face the whole afternoon.

Just bought this yesterday. I wanted a smaller, thinner 9mm to carry, when I felt like it, and was looking for a comparo on Glock 43, SA XDS, or S&W Shield 2.0. Well, the place I went to had this and the Glock. I really liked this, and it was "in the back" as they say. The one in the case was a plain one with night sights. This one had fiber-optics and was ported for the same price, so I grabbed it. I'm really liking it so far. Target was right out of the box first run today. Once I got a little used to it, it settled right in. Full box of American Eagle. 20200611_173422.jpg 20200612_094956.jpg

I just picked up a Taurus 942 22lr revolver so that my Fiancé can practice more. She loves her 38Sp Taurus 85 but sometimes the recoil gets to her since she has MS.

I took it out to the range today and was pleasantly surprised at how it did at 7 yards and even at 25 yards. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much with a 2" barrel. It was easy to keep all eight shots on a 8" target shooting rapid with the heavy double action pull. I think momma will be very happy with it as a trainer to go with her 38Spc. Unfortunately she does not do well in the heat with here MS. I'll have to take her on a cooler day or to the indoor range.

Henry single shot rifle in .357 Magnum. I haven't been able to do much shooting with it yet. But that will change as the summer approaches.
