Reminder, if you aren't already doing it to help the cause, now would be a good time.

With a lot more on-line shopping going on, if you are not already using Amazon Smile to support the cause, I encourage you to do so.

I got this today:
This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your charity, NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund, recently received a quarterly donation of $6,300.47 thanks to customers shopping at smile.amazon.com.

To date, AmazonSmile has donated a total of:
  • $104,163.96 to NRA Civil Rights Defense Fund

There are some other firearms related charities you can choose from, and once you sigh up its totally transparent just use smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com Usually if I forget it prompts "do you want to use this page at smile instead?"

I choose Smiles to support the Ohio chapter of the Concerns of Police Survivors if I'm going to buy something on Amazon. For gun and homebrew stuff I generally go straight to the distributor/manufacturer if possible.

SAF, NRA, Knife Rights all benefit from your designating them during your Amazon shopping.

I tend not to use Amazon due to poor treatment of their workers and due to changes in their selling habits. That said, donations to orgs you support are always a good thing!

Do you have some bonafide examples of Amazon treating their employees poorly. I'm not quite clear on what you mean when you say "changes in their selling habits"...please explain.

Second part first, for me I remember a time when all orders, or at least the vast majority were taken, fielded, processed from start to mailing it out, by amazon and just about everything was guranteed authentic by amazon. With their new marketplace there are so many individual sellers and so many fake or knockoff products it feels a lot like buying from eBay to me. When it comes to warrenties and returns you have to often noe have to contact the seller, who probably isn't amazon.

As for the first part:

I've been signed up for the Amazon Smile program for years, but I had no idea that they had any 2A organizations as options for the donations. Time to change mine!

I have been using Amazon for years and in the vast majority of times have never had a problem. With the volume they do, it would be impossible to not have a few. As far complaints to their work force treatment goes, my gosh you hear this kind of thing all across America. Gun manufacturers etc. They sure are providing a lot of jobs during the Covid Virus. If you do not want to use them that is fine. I doubt it will hurt there business. I have a lot of support to Police and First Responders,

I used mine to support Knife Rights for years! Now I switched it support a nonprofit that supports special operations soldiers as they transition to civilian life (a company I work for btw, the main reason for the switch- helping to pay my salary!).
