I have an LPA rear sight on my 617-2 in the middle, it was a little too high for the 617 front sight. I could have bought a taller front sight but decided to mill out the inside of the LPA sight to make it go lower, I don't care for tall front sights. You can get them with white dots if you prefer.
The only sight I found that is a ghost ring for a S&W revolver was a custom sight a guy made himself. I think options consist of more traditional designs like the nice gents that posted above.
I myself was looking for something like XS Sights for rifles with a rear peep and a front sight that is black with a white stripe up the center.
i found a steel washer that fit right behing the sight perfectly. i have sever small round magnets that are very powerful and i will try to magnetize the washer between tow of these magnets nad just snap it on behing the sight. hope it works as it will give a better clear picture of the front sight. the other thing will be to take the sight apart and soft solder the washer to the back of the sight. one way or another i will get it done.
