Gun shop had it on the shelf for a few months. It and a couple other shotguns were all that was left. He offered me a discount and it called to me. Didn't NEED it. Not sure what I will use it for. Still brought it home without a good reason. I guess you call it a toy. Decided to name it Stimulus!

Nice looking gun. I'm not real crazy about shiny stocks but that's a fine looking shotgun

Very handsome looking shotgun! Wouldn't have much need for a .410; still something like that would be hard to resist!

If it were priced right, I would've bought it too. I had a couple different. 410s over the years. Still have a Saiga and my first Snake Charmer. 410s are gun to play with. The Snake Charmer has done a lot of pest control.

I shot Stimulus today! 4 boxes of shells through it. Cleaned it up later and made a few observations compared to my many beloved Beretta shotguns. The Turkish walnut wood is nicer than most of my Beretta shotguns. The cerekote receiver is nice and easy to clean. The trigger is not as slick and crisp as I would like. Guess I will see what can be done about that. The overall machining of the parts is a little rougher than the Beretta guns. The Tristar DOES have an oring in the gas system. It's kind of hidden but it is there. Not time to worry about the rubber oring yet. Taking out the plug is a breeze and the mag tube is nicely polished inside and out. The barrel cleaned up easy. Cost less than half what the Beretta comparable guns cost. Didn't fail to fire, and it hit where I aimed it. Every part is a very simple design. Not much to fail unless metal fatigue comes along at some point. I really couldn't find any wrong with it except the mediocre trigger pull. The gas system on this G2 .410 is designed exactly like the 20ga G2 Silver I used at one point. However it is a little different mechanically than the Tristar Raptor that my neighbor owns. It was a good but hot day with a shotgun!

I paid off the last payment my Ljutic with my stimulus money. The next one (if we get it) is slated for an Ithaca SxS 16 ga. pheasant gun. If not, the owner will set it aside for me. I shoot leagues with him, he brought it Thursday, I put a few rounds through it.:D

Not sure what I will use it for.

Skeet, woodcock/grouse, small gauge shoots?
