What doesn't interest you?

Nothing, Im interested in pretty much every design, chambering, and style of firearm, or projectile launching device in existence. I dont want to OWN a bunch of them, but it dosent mean im not interested, and if youd like to tell me about them ill ill hapilly sit here and listen.

Now if were talking revolvers i dont want, or really like the idea of. Which are of course, based on my personal uses and preferences.
S&W Xframes, long cyl BFRs, etc.
Shotgun revolvers
sub 3" revolvers
DAO revolvers
revolvers without adjustable sights. (thats my only real deal breaker)

I’m thinking ———
I did the same thing with the RBH 41 mag and after a while I just quit thinking about it too.
If I had thought longer on the 44 mag SBH I probably wouldn’t have bought it- BUT I did enjoy working my new hand loads in it a while back.
I’m basically a 357 guy!

Concerning the NAA mini revolvers...

"No, me either. But man those little revolvers are built like a Swiss watch. I owned one and was super impressed with the quality."

I would be very interested to handle one, and maybe even shoot it. Machines are interesting. I seriously doubt that I could manipulate, aim, or shoot one well with my XXL hands, so my interest is very shallow. I'm not interested in buying one.

Super powerful mega revolver rounds, like .454, .500 S&W, and various rifle rounds etc. .44 magnum is my limit, and I seldom shoot full power magnums. Anything over that is best fired in a rifle or shotgun.
I also have no interest in .44 mag level .45 colt rounds even though I reload and have a Ruger that can shoot them.

Any semi-auto (had a EAA Witness and an M1911 for about two months each; glad to get rid of them. I currently have a CZ-52 that I haven't fired in 5 years)
Any .45/.410 (a novelty gun at best that I have no purpose for. Now if Taurus made a 5-shot .38-55 out of the Judge...maybe)
Any S&W other than a nickel M25-5 with an 8 3/8" barrel (had mine stolen several years ago and have never found another at a decent price)

Howdy
Thought I would start this one just for fun.
Never been interested in having a Python. New or old.
Never been interested in 41 Magnum.
Never been interested in 40 S&W.
Dunno why, just not interested.
What are you not interested in?

Bigger caliber anything, even to shooting a 357 in my 38/357 revolver or from my son's Vaqueros or S&W 686/7..cuz..it farging hurts my hand/thumb/wrist.

Bum wrist(arthritis) and poorly repaired dislocated RH thumb(thanks USN 'docs')..One son has a Uberti Cattleman in 45LC..shot that once, as in one round..no thanks..

No interest in
41
X frame/redhawk size revolvers
Revolvers that hold more than 6 rounds
Black powder revolvers
Tiny revolvers (I find these interesting but wouldn't own one)

Plastic frame revolvers, ugh. (fugly)
Airweight revolvers (revolvers should be fun to shoot at the range, too)
.41 (why?)
.44 Magnum (done with it for good this time)
.460, .500 (why? why?)
Any new Ruger revolver (Security Six and Speed Six and Single Six are cool, though)

Others have covered most of my "disinterest" already....
Ditto 41 mag.
Any round heavier than a Skeeter load 44 spl. - that's what rifles are for.
Plastic fantastics - I own one (G19). You can't escape the efficacy of poly service semis, but they have no soul.
Fixed sights. Why handicap the load versatility of a revolver with one load that shoots POA.
Sixshooters that are only safe with 5
Barrels longer than 5". A handgun must be handy.
Range toys and raceguns If its not field (SD, HD, hunting) practical, it does nothing for me. Yes, I am boring.

No, me either. But man those little revolvers are built like a Swiss watch. I owned one and was super impressed with the quality.
+1
They are cool little guns but they aren't for me. A local farmer carries one every day. Sometimes when I go for a visit we'll put 100-200 rnds through it. Then I clean it for him and we go have a few beers. Always a good time.

For some strange reason I have never been interested in the 40 S&W or the 41 Magnum cartridges. I don't know why & I have no good reason to feel that way but I have never considered buying a gun in either caliber even when good deals have been presented to me.
Go figure

The long frame bfr's do have odd proportions, but the range of cartidges they come in definitely have made me a fan. If they made one in 375 Win i'd be willing to spend the money.

There are a lot of things I am not interested in but the most recent brought to my attention by a number of fawning posts is large frame/short barrel revolvers.
Exactly. If you don't spend lots of time in dangerous game territory then you really shouldn't have a snubbie larger than 44mag.
The only reason I say 44mag is because I know a local leo that carries a snubbie Redhawk with a wheel of Skeeter loads as a backup/off duty gun.

I do understand, I felt the same way, until I shot one. Thank goodness we have options, no?

All,
I wanted to add to my list.

No longer interested in anything 1911 - I know, this is a revolver section.

I also wish to add NAA mini revolvers. I finally put one in my hand and “Yuck!”. Nope, not for me.

Fiber optic sights on revolvers or anything else but especially revolvers. Hate em!

No interest in kooky new designs like the Rhino or the LCR. That’s basically it, I love revolvers and will gladly put money down on most any of them. Sadly, I have had bad luck with the “best” mass produced full sized .357 DA guns so no interest whatsoever in a gp100 or a new 686.
