Does anyone know why there are none of these available anywhere? I can find S&W 22lr revolvers, and I can find Ruger 22 magnum LCR and 22 lr single six revolvers, but absolutely no LCRX 22lr revolvers. None on gunbroker, nor any of the other online retailers I’ve searched.

Panic buying?
They are light and less expensive as compared to S&W. Most folks don’t care for single actions.
There are a lot of guns that are “out of stock” on various distributor’s websites.

I sure hope you can get one. I’ve had mine a couple years and while it is not a target gun, it is good shooting and accurate enough to have tight groups at 7 yards.

Because they were discontinued by Ruger. I doubt they will ever come back.

I do not think Ruger has ever cataloged a LCRx in 22 LR with a barrel under 3". You can get the LCR (hammerless) in 22 LR with a short barrel. The one I have handles well as a trainer or a plinking pistol. I think if I was wanting the ability to shoot in SA, I would go with the target sighted LCRx with the 3" barrel, to gain the full potential.

^^^^ I agree with Sean, I don't think there ever was a 2" LCRX in 22lr.

Aside from that... the OP didn't say he was looking for a 2".

Looking at the wayback archive, yeah... it appears that Ruger never offered a 2" .22 LCRx. I was certain they did.

Where are you located?

Correct, I am looking for the 3 inch LCRX in 22 lr.

I believe you're correct. I searched the LCRx history and here is what I came up with.

"Ruger announced the LCRx variant in December 2013, which features an external hammer, allowing it to be fired in single or double action. All the other features of the LCR are also present in the LCRx including the polymer grip, trigger housing, and fluted stainless steel cylinder. A 1.87-inch barrel version of the LCRx in .357 Magnum and a 3-inch barrel version in .22 LR became available in April 2017. The 1.87″ barrel version became available as a five-shot 9mm and a six-shot .327 Magnum in fall 2017."

Haven't seen many of any of the 3" LCRx in any of my local haunts. Seems that the shorty is more popular. Which is a shame, I'd like to adopt a few 3"s to my stable.
