Hey all, I appreciate any help or suggestions obtaining parts for some old daisies I like to refurb.
Which vendors do you use and why do you like them?
Thanks in advance and be well

Daisy still sells parts for guns that are in production. Since the virus hit, shipping has been molasses-slow, though. Even reaching a CS rep by phone can be a problem.

Thanks Cobalt, I was searching for a link on the website, guess I have to call on an order? Probably better, in case there are any questions. Off hand, do you know if a model 25 barrel will fit the model lll? I can add the copper no problem if everything else is cool.

The 25 shot tube (Daisyspeak for the barrel) will work in the 111, and you already know you need a spacer so it tightens up the way it should, so you should be GTG. Shot Tube Assembly is part number 169866-000

Yes, you need to call in the order. Be prepared to wait. The muzak isn't the worst, but the quality of the recording really is!

Daisy contact info:

PHONE 1-479-636-1200, option 1
HOURS (ET):
MON - THUR 9 - 6
FRI 9 - 4

G'luck!

ETA- If you have questions, you can always just ask here, or if you need a quicker answer feel free to email me at cobalt 327 at hotmail dot com. The reason is, since I offered to field 'outside the box' questions for them, they tell many callers to contact me anyway.

Much Thanks Cobalt, appreciate the help and contact info. Did you have any idea when you started this thread it would turn into this??? I love it!!!! Be well

Thank you kindly for the acknowledgement, and I'm sure you're including the "Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy thread- and you are right! No way did I ever think it would survive for as long as it has, or would have so many views! I hope others have enjoyed it as much as we have, and my guess is that it has helped bring some folks back to the simple pleasure of plinking with a Daisy BB gun. After all, for many a Daisy BB gun under the Christmas tree, a birthday present, or bought from selling Grit, was how they were introduced to guns. And rediscovering that feeling from yesteryear is priceless, I believe.

That is the thread that I meant to refer to! It was what brought me to this forum and has brought back a ton of memories! My family has it’s issues, but my nephew (34) was over the other day and got to talking about the very BB guns I had just retrieved from my Dad (91). He had fond memories of them and really missed the “bigger one”. He was so jazzed to find out I had them, was refurbng/modding them, and what really blew his mind is that they were mine from my childhood! He was never aware of why (I had left them) they were in my Dad’s basement!
