So what is legal now in Illinois?

Looks like the only restrictions apply to Chicago.

BTW, leaving ILL-inois is legal (and I'll do that after retirement in 6 months, and the RWS 48 is going with me)....but of course, if you live in Chicago and choose to leave, there is a penalty tax to be paid when the house is sold so you can leave.

I have a hard time figuring out legal speak. I live in Illinois and don't know how large of a knife I can carry, how powerful an air rifle can be (without FOID) or how many rounds my magazine can hold in crook county. I've tried figuring these things out but the regulations that double back on themselves are intended to confuse and create a situation that ANYTHING can be a crime. Illinois is a nightmare, can't wait to leave.

Reminder...the FOID card has been ruled unconstitutional. But of course the anti-gun Nazis (Democrat Party) are appealing the ruling..so the state's gun owners are still under their thumb
