What is the last gun that you bought?

IMG_3256.jpeg Bought a T/CR22, the performance center model with hogue stock and carbon-wrapped barrel. Fun!

My wife was highest bidder at an auction last week and today we picked up her new (old) baby.
A Colt SAA 2nd series from 1975 in used but very okay condition. Barrel is scratched but as we are shooting all our weapons and don't have any save queens it doesn't really matter to us.
I don't know if the trigger has seen some work but it is GREAT. Maybe it was like that in the 70s?
Ammunition needs some fine tuning but from first shooting I can't say I'm not happy. It shot 6" groups and I think 4" is possible with some work at the reloading press.
Wife's even more happy. Couldn't wipe the grin from her face the whole afternoon.

Beautiful.

How do you get the pictures with a white background like that?

I picked up a Ruger Charger yesterday. I'm now waiting on the brace and an adapter.

It's something I've wanted to do for a while and I finally received permission from SWMBO.

I'm really starting to like braced pistols with 8-10" barrels.

Found this poor old Marlin 39A at an auction yesterday. Beat up, rusted up but I had to have it. Took it apart and got her insides all cleaned up and working good. Tried to get as much rust off as I could. I think it spent a lot of it's life out in a shed or barn. Loaded her up this morning with ten rounds and it ran flawlessly. Not bad for a 1947 serial number. 20200722_184547.jpg

I was more or less ready to buy either a M70 extreme weather in 308 win or a Sako 85 varmint in 260 rem..Both brand new.

As things turned out tonight, i found a old, used push feed M70 featherweight in 6,5x55.
Have just seen pictures of it, but it looks to be in good condition.

I got that one instead. Saved alot of money too:D

However, it will get some other optics when i get it.

I stopped by my local shop to see what they had. I was comparing the size difference between a Glock G43 to the G44 (I didn't care for the G43). I then noticed that the Kel-Tec CP33 was still sitting all by itself in the corner of the display case. The poor Kel-Tec has been sitting there for 2-3 months. The owner was asking $465 + taxes but told me that I could have it for $400 out the door (taxes included). Needless to say I gave the CP33 a home today. It has adjusted just fine to life here with its siblings, PMR30 and CMR30.
