Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Went to the only LGS for 50 miles and again, no 9mm ammo and no 9mm bullets. A couple of boxes of .40 S&W defense loads at over a $1.50 a round. Pass.

Settled for the last box of Hornady XTPs for .40 S&W/10mm, another half-brick of .22, 1000 CCI Large Pistol primers, and a couple more boxes to store reloads in.

I got an Arex Delta 9mm at a local shop today. I stopped in to ask about a front sight for another gun. I didn't get the sight, but got a new toy.

Several holsters for various p365 versions in OWB, IWB and pocket. Here is my unicorn in a level II p365XL holster with light and optics cut. This is an excellent holster from DARA:

Bought a 50 rd box of WBB in 38spl, $35 for a box... Kinda regret it but oh well. And 2 more boxes of Federal HammerDown .30-30

Hi...
I stopped at a local gun shop to get my hunting license today. So, I guess that qualifies as firearm related.
After I bought my license, I wandered around the shop for a while just checking things out.

Long story short...I put a Ruger Blackhawk flat top in .44Spl on layaway. Don't really need it...I have had a Lipsey's Ruger Blackhawk flat top in .44Spl for years that I shoot quite regularly. I also have a couple other .44Spl handguns as well. Of course, need has nothing to do with it. Just couldn't resist.

I picked up a LPK for another AR build. When got home there was a box at the front door. When I picked it up, I could hear something inside bumping against metal.
I have placed a few orders in the pass two weeks but couldn’t think of anything I ordered that would make the sounds coming from the box.
When I opened the box I was surprised to see a new 30 cal. Ammo can in the box. Target Sport was embossed on one side of the can.
Inside the can were two boxes of 22 ammo, and 25 rounds of 9mm, a key chain and some stickers. It was a free gift from Target Sport for having a Prime membership.:)

Didn't buy anything but was given a shotgun and two handguns. The shotgun from an uncle who passed away and would take me hunting as a kid and the two handguns from his wife. Interesting because the handguns both 1911 guns were from her father. For reasons unknown he bought a 1911A1 in his mid 80s and had another actual GI 1911 in an ammo can in a pistol soft case. While the grips are totally incorrect and the slide has some scuff marks the gun is in OK shape. Has the correct slide markings and a 5 digit serial number placing it in 1914.

The 1911

The slide is marked Model of 1911 U.S. Army

Need to find some grips and temporarily anything but those ugly wrap around Pachmeyer grips.

The second .45 ACP is a run of the mill 1911A1 Auto Ordnance bought around 2000

The shotgun is an old Remington auto-loader the model which looks like the Browning line and is a 16 gauge. My sister got them for me so I need to get down and see her, maybe one or two days next week I'll take the bike down.I have kids and grand kids down in Columbus where she is anyway. I thought coming into the old Colt was interesting and a nice surprise. :)

Bullets....a couple hundred 230 grain LRN for use in a Glock 36/Lone Wolf barrel.

Received 3000 230 gr. FMJRN (jacketed not plated) Zero brand bullets to feed my 45 ACP 1911's yesterday......added to the bullets I've got left and the several hundred rounds I've got loaded I should be good to go for awhile.

Oh I have had a good week. I found some and bought 2 AR uppers and 3 AR's. Have 25 boxes of 9mm and 5 boxes of 45 ACP coming in next week. Bought a Taurus TX22 and 3 Steyr RFP's (JUNK). Have orders for several conceal guns and everything else is sold. Now if I could only fins a pallet of 223 I could retire.

DD rear sight.
Been on Ebay trying to find a gloss scope for my Ruger #1.
Ideally an 8X AO for reasonable. Yes, I let one slide by recently, my back is sore from kicking myself

I found a couple 50 round boxes of 40 for only 13.39 locally, and ordered another 500 rounds online. After checking several online ammo dealers I found these days s&w 40 is the cheapest round available. I guess I'll be shooting my 40s more now!
