Llama firing pin retainer removal

Getting light strikes on a Llama .22 XV. Cannot figure out how to remove firing pin retainer, which comes up from the bottom of the slide and is circular staked at the top surface. Cannot break loose with a screwdriver from the bottom, any suggestions on how to remove the staking without messing up the surface of the slide?

Correct, it appears the end of the pin was contoured to the slide profile and circular staked before bluing. Trying to figure out how to remove the staking with out butchering the slide totally. If you zoom up on the top of slide pic you should be able to see the staking.

Duh, never thought about that being a proofmark, looked like it was in line with the pin. Soaking in kroil now, will try again in a week or so.

Soaking overnight in kroil allowed removal. Now just need to order a new firing pin. New screw ordered, but recut slot in old screw so can reuse for now. Thanks for all the help.
