I have multiple models of Leupold, Burris, Weaver, Sightron, Bushnell, and (only one) Vortex scopes and have systematically compared them side-by-side. I do not have a Droptine, but the Burris Fullfield ll and Timberline scopes I've tried outperformed (clarity and resolution) the other competitor brands that cost a good bit more. I've HEARD that the Burris Droptine is optically like the Fullfield II, but I don't know that to be the case. If it is, it'll be good. I suggest calling Burris and asking how they compare to the Fullfield II.
