I'd like to hear from members where the shelves are NOT bare

Shelves aren't bare here but there's holes where there didn't used to be holes. Strangely, in Apr we ran out of .40, had lots of 9. Now it's flipped, have .40 and out of 9. Not that we are or were huge stocking dealers in ammo, but it's been an odd few months.

In SW Indiana LGS had no 9mm, but had most other calibers. First time I'd been in that store and prices were higher than I was used to, but not sure if it's because of the times or if that store is normally higher than I prefer. Rural King was bare on 9mm, but started restocking while I was there. Picked up two boxes of PPU for 11.99/box of 50. They were low on .45 as well, but had most others.

What part of SW IN are you in? What store? Just curious as that's my stomping ground.

That was in the Princeton store about a week and a half ago. Haven't been through Princeton since then, so not sure what the stock is like currently.

Fin, Feather, Fur in Rossford, Ohio had some ammo. 32 auto, 357 SIG & magnum. 40 s&w is all I can recall. A little of 223/556. The rimfire I didn't look at, as there were a few people in that aisle. Hit and miss on reloading supplies, but not bare shelfed.
I didn't think of looking at the gun counter.
As a side note, I crossed paths with a man who came out as I was heading in, carrying 2-8 lb. jugs of powder. He had the look of someone who had the prized booty and was getting out of dodge before anyone noticed. :D
I stopped in again today after work. It looked about the same. But they did have no. 41, CCI SR magnum, and CCI LP primers. I saw no signs for limits on reloading. Powders were in fair supply.
There are signs about limits on certain ammo. I did see a sparse supply of 22 lr. The only 9mm Luger I saw was defense rounds in several different brands, but nothing for the range.
This time I browsed the handgun counter, and it was stocked with a fair amount.
They were busy, but not swamped.

Just stopped into the Scheels in Fargo ND yesterday. Their cases were full of rifles, handguns, and shotguns. The shelves seemed stocked with ammo, but I didn’t look too close to see with what.

There was sure a lot of 380ACP and 40S&W ammo in Sportsman's Warehouse in Pocatello yesterday. The only 9mm stuff I saw though was a few boxes of expensive ($15 for 20 rounds) of Winchester Silvertips. I didn't see any so called "blasting" 9mm ammo.
The store wasn't crowded in any way, but then again it was 3:00 o'clock on a Thursday afternoon. It might be more crowded tomorrow (Saturday), but I won't be there - we're going to get out and shoot some 22LR handguns tomorrow. We have plenty of 22LR ammo.;)

Bass Pro in San Antonio continues to have plenty of handguns and long guns when I've been dropping by there. Dunno specifics on models and prices as I'm not looking to purchase any firearms there just killing time browsing during the typical 30 minute wait after I go to the online order pickup area on my way in. I've been using their "Free Ship To Store" option to get some powders and primers without being dinged with a Haz-Mat fee and I take a stroll upstairs while waiting for someone to locate my online order and bring it up front so I can take my goods home. Selections in those commodities are limited though I've occasionally found items on the shelves upstairs the online system said weren't there.

Stopped by 4 gun shops yesterday in and around Springfield, MO.

Bass Pro - Springfield, MO - no 9mm or 38 special ammo to be had, no limits on ammo though. Saw 45 acp, 40sw, 357 mag, and most other calibers. They had some 223. Zero 12 gauge buckshot and zero 12 gauge slugs. Tons of Turkey loads and only a few boxes of high dollar 20 gauge slugs ($20 for 5 rounds).

Had their normal wide variety of handguns. Lowest price handgun, was a tie between a Taurus G2 and a S&W SD9VE at around $325. They had at least 6 AR15's and tons of pump shotguns - all flavors to include 1 Mossberg 590 w/ wood stocks.

I recently bought a Glock 27 - 40sw off a friend. While I have a spare 9mm barrel that I can drop in, I want re-evaluate my dislike of 40sw. I grabbed 2 - 100 packs of Winchester White Box 40SW at $34.99 a box.

Edited to add: I stopped and looked at the $60,000 fishing boat on the way out.
Holy smokes - that's a lot of $ for a fresh water fishing boat.

Cherokee Firearms - Springfield, MO - they had all varieties & calibers for ammo. But only 3 brands of 9mm with a limit of 1 box for handgun ammo and 2 boxes of rifle / shotgun ammo. Their handgun cases were thin but they still had a decent variety (lots of Glocks - for normal new prices). Multiple AR15's on the wall, though higher in price.

I grabbed 2 boxes of Aguila mini-shell 12 gauge buckshot and 1 box of 40sw.

Doc Holiday's Gun & Pawn - Ozark, MO - ammo is kept behind the counter but it looked like they had plenty. No limits on ammo purchases. Had a few pump shotguns and a couple AR15's. Normal variety of handguns but nothing worth buying.

Dead Eye Gun & Pawn - Sparta, MO - I follow this shop on facebook. They are selling guns like hotcakes and post on FB what has come in. Most of it sells fast. Ammo was limited but they had 1 brand of expensive defensive ammo for each of the major calibers - 9mm, 40sw, 45, 357, etc. Handguns were limited in selection but something in every major defensive caliber with normal prices. A few AR15's and a few Turkish semi-auto 12 gauges.

I had a supervised visitation with my 2 suppressors that are waiting for stamps at Dead Eye. They look good.

Shot 150rds of 165gr FMJ 40sw out of the G27 last night. Hmm - not too bad. Not as snappy as I remember. Owned a G23, 10 years ago and didn't care for it. Nor did I invest much time to it either.

As of today at Scheels in Eau Claire WI they have plenty of 9 mm ,Fiocchi in 100 round boxes and plenty of Blazer aluminum in 50 round boxes with a 100 round limit. Lots of 40 too, but very little 45. Plus a heck of a lot of .22.

Well had to pick up my new pistol today. Stopped into Rural King again just to see what they had. Just piles of hunting rounds and target shotgun shells. Had some Norma-Tac .22lr boxes and .308. Looks like someone bought all their cases of green tip 5.56

West Armory had ammo in all calibers still had boxes of 9mm, went up quite a bit in a week. Still had 200 rd bricks of Aussie .223, but they went up $30 a brick in a week. They did have a handful PPU 9mm ammo cans, 1k rds of 124gr $430 per a case.
