I have had a 336 Marlin fer several years, now I have the time to reload fer it, could you all be so kind and let me know what works good? THANKS IN ADVANCE

I have been reloading for 60 some years, yes I have all the reloading tools I need, the load that I tried was with IMR 3031 because of the short barrel on my Marlin, was just wondering if their isn't some new powder that I don't know about that would be better. I no longer hunt to old and I don't agree with the fish and game RULES.

Try leverevolution powder it’s built for the .35 rem and other lever gun cartridges

Well... IMR3031 was going to be my suggestion... but you are there, already. ;) I load for the .348WCF in a 20" Browning 71... it's not apples to apples, but I've found the faster IMR3031 works better with the short barrel than slower powders, and I also use IMR3031 in my 16" .308 M1a with excellent results.

It will be hard to beat imr3031. It's my number one choice for sheer accuracy.

Hi guys I'm new to the site. I reload for 35 rem but I have a turk k kale rebarreled. I use imr 4198. Started out at 27grs under Hornady interlock 200gr. Got decent accuracy. I've since worked from their and found a load that works great! I'm hesitant to post the load cause it would be a considered a very hot load! I'll just say my Lyman 39 manual has a max of 32 grs of imr4198 under a 200gr bullet.

Just to give a bit more info my turk has a 22in barrel. I went up till I got flattened pimers and backed off by 2 grs. I also use 200gr Hornady intelock pointed bullets. I've also used win 748 but didn't get as good groups. The current Hornady manual list 27.1grs of imr 4198 as max. Another source I've used was an article out of Big Bore Rifles and cartridges.
