I just bought an AR 10 from Palmetto State Armory in a 6.5 creed. I have read in multiple threads that its performance is greatly increased with the addition of an after market muzzle brake. It has a stainless barrel. It comes standard with a black nitride muzzle break, that apparently is of poor quality. I have done some research, and have decided to add an "APA Gen 3 Little Bastard Self Timing Muzzle Brake". I now am trying to consider stainless or black nitride. I want to know if anyone has any experience with one being inherently better than the other with any aspect of performance, and what would be the negative side of either. I am buying this to increase accuracy, and to reduce recoil with the hopes of better holdover for a follow up shot. Also, this is the site that I found gave me the best info on muzzle brakes, if anyone else is in the market:
