Smith & Wesson I-Bolt

I had one and recall it using Remington 700 bases. This from Shooting Times: "Model 700 bases will fit the i-Bolt's receiver contours, but oversized 8/40 screws are required."

They were shipped with a one-piece Weaver style base, so there may be a cross reference?

I take it you aware of the several recalls that the I-Bolt experienced, and its subsequent discontinuance? The bolts of all I-Bolt rifles were recalled. I contacted S&W when I was experiencing light strikes (30-06) @ 2013. They had me send it in and sent me back a T/C Venture Weather Shield in my choice of caliber, which I was happy to do.
