Glow paint around red fiber optic?

Has anyone tried this? I only have one functional arm and find it easier to stand kinda sideways when shooting. Problem is that my vision is 20/40 and that eye sees things blurry up close. Makes the red fiber optics on my revolvers almost impossible to get a good sight picture with. Just too blurry and dark through that eye. I'd put night sights on it but I don't wanna ruin how great it picks up in good lighting.

I was wondering if anyone has ever put glow in the dark paint around a red fiber optic,and how it worked if so. Just want to be able to pick my sights up a bit faster. I don't wear glasses and don't really want to. It's never been a problem in any area of life besides shooting at dim lit indoor ranges.

Red appears as a blob to me but the green fiber optic sights on my Glocks do not. I have Tru-Glo TFX night / fiber sights on my Glocks.

I have but it's just an availability thing. These new Colt revolvers are pretty limited in after market options. I know I could just replace the rods but seems like a bit of a hassle.
