I just go the Christensen Arms Ranger 22 back from the factory. I received the rifle back in about a week.
Today I am going to test it for the first time since return on the 100 yard line. If you recall from the first video out of the box I had ejections issues.

Christensen did everything right. The got the rifle back replaced the trigger guard which houses the ejector and the bolt due to new design. You never want to have to use support to ever send a rifle back but if you ever do you want to make sure the organization you are dealing with has great support, and Christensen Arms support was top notch.

Had to post this RIGHT after I get the LW barrel on my 457 huh? :p
And once again my interest in a Ranger is piqued, and I'm not supposed to buy any more big stuff this year lol.

What weight are you running the trigger at? I believe they ship with the TriggerTech Primary, which while still a "budget" after market trigger, I really like. It should go down to around 1.5lbs or so. Both if mine are set at 2.

Simply amazing you can shoot so well with everything else going on! I’m a never break position guy when shooting for groups because I know what happens to mine if I do. Love the videos and feel free to continue down the rabbit hole, I’ll happily follow along!

I haven't seen any posts since the last one. Anything new to report? I have been eyeing one, but don't want to part with the money until I am sure about the purchase.

I managed to convince myself not to buy last night, just barely....

I too wouldnt mind more help making the decision.

I love the “day at the range” YouTube videos. I checked tonight to see if an update was there. As much as I want another CZ, to get an American made one would be nice.

It is tightening up the strange thing is it seems it may like high velocity ammo. I am trying to make sure this is correct. If it truly is liking high velocity ammo over the more expensive stuff it makes a serious keeper.
That would be awesome of if was something that followed the whole line. I cant GET real "match" ammo here. CCI standards are about the best anyone stocks.

I did Christensen for the very reason DH spoke of American Made small family owned, call me old fashion. Though I really want a 457 but think I may shed something first if I do it at all.

Im REALLY happy with my Ridgeline, and ill probably keep that one.
For me thats pretty unusual....Part of me wants to add a Ranger just so i have a matching pair, part wants it because of how nice my Ridgeline is, and part simply because I like the company.

I AM very happy with my 457 as well, and its well worth the cost...i really SHOULD just stick with it for a while......

A good friend of mine recently bought a Ranger 22. He's having some issues with it, the action moves in the stock with the actions screws torqued down.
I can't believe that Christensen doesn't install pillars in a Carbon Fiber stock, that is just stupid. I've never thought too highly of their gun's, and this just showed me to never buy one.

Have to check with @Mr.Revolverguy, as he lists them in his initial review of the Ranger, and Christensen says ALL their carbon stocks have Invar pillars. For sure my Ridgeline has pillars.
From what I've read, the early versions of the Ranger may have issues, and they have made some corrections. Might wanna have your friend check with them to see if there's anything they can do.
