The Blaze is hardly a reliable, credible news source, if such a thing even still exists anymore.
Two of the 5 groups mentioned were also mentioned here..
In the name of diversity, we should also mention Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, the Pink Pistols, the Liberal Gun Club, the National African American Gun Association, and others.

The only one I question is 'ANTIFA', it's not really an 'organization, in the sense of a 'home office', governing body, etc..it's much more amorphous..

AND, the point, IMHO.
We need to expand the demographics of gun ownership.

Rather than comment on which media source is better, best...

Thanks for all the in put on this folks . I believe there are many good groups out there but I of course can't give or join them all and after much research and talking with others I decided to join GOA for something on the national level and also join a local group here in Oklahoma called OK2A . That way I feel like I am supporting my rights of being a American and also at my state level . If by some way Trump loses there is no telling what will become of our 2nd amendment rights and even if he wins there will always be those politicians and people who think nobody needs those evil guns . Trying to take our gun rights is plumb crazy . Sorry not wanting to rant but we ALL need to do our part and support to keep our rights . Again thanks and God Bless .

For those of you in CA, CRPA is good.
They were behind the recent suit before the 9th about 10 round mags and won (at least for the time being....)
CRPA is a Amazon Smile charity, I don't know if any of the other groups are but if you use Amazon it might be worth checking to see if a group you would like to support is on the Smile list.

Some State-level groups seem to do a lot of heavy lifting on the local front. Grass Roots NC has generally done pretty good with NC rights. Some wins, some losses, but I think they're helping to push things the right way overall.

Definitely check out the locals.

Once upon a time politicians (Red and Blue alike) would mind their Ps and Qs and tremble a the thought of getting a bad grade from the NRA. Their was even a whole category of Blue Dog Democrats that steered main stream and courted the blue collar vote. And many people went to the ballot box with an NRA score card in their pocket.

Heller and MacDonald were both strategically chosen, litigated, and funded by the NRA, and as a result we have the first ever SCOTUS ruling that 2A is an individual right and that handguns are protected as common use for self protection.

The NRA has been public enemy #1 for every anti organization out there and has suffered every kind of attack as a result. Divide and conquer has worked very well for the lefties. And the NRA has allowed it's leadership to live large (though I'd wager the CEO of the American Red Cross makes as much if not more as Wayne and company) and is faltering in a big way.

From my perspective, all the other gun rights organizations (and more power to them) are small potatoes in regard to their influence and history of real impact, and the NRA is still preeminent in every regard. When we lose the NRA, we'll have lost the best 2A friend we've ever had.

No one wants to lose the NRA. The problem is the leadership. Leaders have left the stage when their presence is counterproductive to the organization. But we are going down the NRA discussion path and staff decided we didn't want to do. I know I said something about it, so I'm pulling the plug.
