I finally got a shipping notice from Missouri bullet. Almost eight weeks to the day after the order was placed. The original estimate was a three-week delay. I'm passing this information through not as a complaint but as encouragement for folks to hang in there with delayed orders.

I don't think MBC no longer has millions of bullets on their shelves these days. And casting bullets was supposed to be their leisurely retirement side business for the IT geek now likely shipping more bullets each day than many other manufacturers :D - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...e-how-mbc-makes-bullets.854914/#post-11205543

They had over 4 million bullets on hand for fast shipping ... Apparently no more now as likely, they are packing and shipping bullets as soon as they are put into boxes.

A million and a half bullets would have been a around 70-75 days worth of production for the operation we had back in the 80s. Maybe less, but more than 60 days. That was with one windmill machine and one automated luber sizer.
My conclusion is Missouri must be getting a boatload of business right now!

I got a notice that mine was shipped Monday (ordered 7/3) , Received it on Friday. Just Maybe USPS has got back to near normal.

I was not expecting it for a couple of weeks due to my last Priority Mail package took 18 days to reach me.

Got the shipment today! Bullets look good! Some Keith 45s and light conical 44s.

I ordered some .38 and .44 bullets yesterday as I'm running low for the winter. I've never seen so few bullets available on their site. Didn't know that many reloaders were hording. I love their stuff, and am happy to wait a few weeks for them to ship.

Ordered 155 grain .40 bullets a week ago. Drat! Here I am with a brand new (never fired) Firestar .40 S&W and no bullets. Got primers, powder and cases, but no bullets.

Ordered my last shipment on 7/26, received yesterday, 9/14. So seven weeks, one day.

So they are right on target when they say to wait 6-8 weeks. :)

Keep patient!

My 165s are running 5 to 7 percent heavy. Doesnt bother me for my use, but just a reminder to weigh a test lot of bullets, dont rely on spec.
