What are your next 5 gun purchases?

What are the next 5 guns in your wishlist?

I have no idea and won't know till something comes along that trips my trigger. Got an email from my uncle's wife who had my uncle's old Remington Model 11 shotgun along with two 45 ACP pistols (1911 guns) which had belonged to her father. She wanted me to have them. Occasionally a neighbor or friend will mention to me availability of a gun. If it's something I may like I make an offer or just buy it. No way in hell I can forcast what my next gun will be, let alone the next five. I can sum it up well though with Que Sera Sera. :)

S&W Model 686 .357 Magnum 4" or 5" barrel
Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 Win
Some type of .223 Remington Bolt Action
Winchester SX4 Semi-automatic 12 Ga. Shotgun (Walnut Stock)
Winchester Model 70 in .308 Win

Knock the Model 70 off this list. Mission Accomplished. Got a featherweight. Putting a Leupold 3.5-10,40mm with Boone & Crockett reticle on it.

Several months ago that answer would have been the DWX, since then due to Dan Wesson being forced to shutter its doors, Ive bought a Sig 226 and 220. Its still on the top of my list though.

Only five:( next five:)

First I would like to pick up a large caliber revolver 44 mag / 454 or 10mm auto.

2) Bond Arms Rowdy 45/410
3) Ruger American 6.5 CM
4) 45/70 Lever Action
5) nice 22lr left handed bolt.
Checked off number 2 today and picked up the Bond Arms Rowdy 45/410. Also picked up a AT Nomad 12 gauge single shot.

I have no idea if I'll ever buy another gun. I've been thinking I was done buying guns for quite a while now, but I've been mistaken. These are the last 5 I've bought, the only one that I kinda sorta had been thinking about buying was the AR-10 (the only AR I've bought since I got my 1971 Colt SP-1 Carbine in the early '80s).

CZ 452 FS .22 Magnum
CZ 452 FS .22 LR (my 2nd one)
CZ 452 Varmint .22 Magnum
Ithaca Model 37
Armalite AR-10

The next 5 good deals I come across most likely

Short (but not that short) list would be:
Glock 10mm
44spl revolver
Youth rifle for elk/deer
SxS shotgun in 20ga or 28ga

Well last week I bought the next good deal I came across which also happened to be the “youth rifle for elk/deer” slot. Found a H&R Handi rifle in 308, came with cheap red dot and a 3-9x tasco and around 200 rounds of ammunition. Paid $200 for it. Fits the kids well, I fired a few rounds and it doesn’t kick too bad, will probably download it with light bullets for a few years and will do some scope swapping. Pretty happy with it overall though

What are the next 5 guns in your wishlist?

My wishlist isn't that long. Only item on it now is a S&W Model 48 22WMR revolver. And I intend to scratch that itch pretty soon.

My wish list (though I'd need to buy a bigger or 2nd safe/cabinet at this point):

1) M1 Garland
2) 9mm Carbine or Braced Pistol
3) 357 lever action rifle
4) 10mm handgun (1911 or CZ pattern probably)
5) 20 gauge shotgun

All of those come after ammo for what I already have though. o_O

I won't get around to buying anything any time soon, but here's my best guess at my next 5 purchases:
1. Ruger American Rimfire Target (or at least one of them with the bull barrel)
2. S&W M&P, not sure what flavor yet;
3. BHP;
4. Ruger Charger;
5. A suppressor for .45 (does that count?).
I guess I need to retract my opening statement: #1 -- CHECK! :D

1. AR.
2. Garand
3. Flintlock rifle
4. FN 1900 pistol
5. Rolling block rifle

Not necessarily in that order. I buy them as I come across them for a fair price.

I don't know what the next gun purchase might be, let alone the next five. The last three or four guns I bought were either a Craigslist bargain or on sale at Sportsmans Warehouse. So the next one might be the same kind of impulse purchase as there is nothing in particular that I'm hankering for.

Honestly, I think my next ten or fifteen will be divestitures, not acquisitions. Haven't really looked at anything with lust in my eye for a while now.
Sad to say, I have a number of guns that have not been handled, or even looked at (much less fired) in years.
And I'm not getting any younger.
Anyway, thanks for the reality check.

450 BM custom Remington 7600
460 S&W Handgun
M&P 9mm Compact
Garand
Marlin 336D 35 Rem

Unless I find a Winchester 1895 Musket in 30-40

So far I have acquired the Garand. Bought a 450 BM Ruger American Ranch. Traded into a Ruger LCP...don’t know how that happened.

Still working on the 7600 450 BM.

Haven’t found a suitable M&P yet and the 336D I though I was going to buy became unavailable. I firmly believe the 460 will just fall into my lap one day.

The question for me now becomes: What takes the place of the RAR-T?
A 9mm 1911? Blasphemy, I know. Still sounds like fun.
Ammo? A case of CCI standard velocity .22 would be nice.
An SR9c? I came so close to getting one...

Decisions, decisions . . . .

Update:
If by Next Spring ammo fails to steadily decrease in price ( /// stored plenty of it in 2016-2019), probably a mixmaster commercial German Luger in 9mm, but only at $1,100 max.

I have picked up a few things, but lately I kind of think about how so many new owners have their new firearm and a box or two of ammo and are scared.

I am thankful to be in a position to be able to buy things for recreation's sake right now, but given the above it just kind of feels "wrong" in a way. That being said I am unsure what will happen with Marlin and felt it was prudent to go ahead and make that purchase.

There is one more gun show I plan to attend before the election and if I see a Blackhawk in .45 Colt I might go ahead. But other than that, I think I will cool my jets for awhile.

It has been a few months since this thread was active.
Has the ammo/reloading components supply and firearm availability changed your list?
Or has something else changed that had impacted your list?

I still haven't gotten a shotgun or a 1911 yet. They are getting high on my list. All the shotguns around here are either tactical or O/U. Every 1911 I like ends up being a 9mm variant and I want a .45 as my first 1911

No long guns until I sell a few safe queen AR’s. And I hate selling guns. But when I finally do:

1. Used old style quad rail LMT MWS .308
2. Galil ACE 5.45 folding stock rifle (If/when there is a second production)
3. LMT MRP upper for stripped MARS lower I have.
4. Guncrafters No Name 1911
5. Above ACE in 7.62x39 if I get impatient.
