Well, you asked for opinions. . .
Looks like a solution in search of a problem. The MkII hammer strut "problem" is only a problem until you either: look at the weapon as you're reassembling, or read the directions. Once you look or read, you're spoiled for life. . . never to suffer again.
Buying gadgets as an alternative to paying a modicum of attention is dumb.

I don't have issues reassembling mine. A hunting buddy hes older 86 and has a MKII and I always need to go reassemble for him. Its a bit of a drive so was thinking maybe for him to simplify things.

I've installed them on several MKlls and they work as advertised. Sure, you can get by without one but for $20.00 I'll save myself the aggravation.
