Another Savior rifle case.

Some kits to turn my 22/45 mags to 12 rounds each.

I received four of these wooden cases yesterday,,,
They were made for me by hampelswoodlandproducts.com

I have four rimfire-centerfire pairs of pistols I want to put in them.




Now all I need to do is figure out the best way to partition them,,,
I have a few different ideas in mind as to how.

I want them to resemble the cased sets from the 1800's.

Gently used Hornady Lock-n-Load press with (what I hope to be) everything necessary except shell plates for handgun rounds.

I've recently purchased an Inglis FN Hi Power and an occupation FN Herstal Hi Power. Also picked up a Walther P38. All in very good shape. P38 only test fired at the manufacturer. I've purchased a Winchester M1 Garand and that's all for this year. I am going to take a short course in appraising so I can get insurance for everything. I've had very good luck so far and have never purchased a lemon. Thank god!

1 50 round box of Geco 7.62×39 Target Ammo.

There were two styles of internal arrangements in 19th century cases: the "French" style where a solid block was carved out to hold each component, and the "English" style with partitions between each item. The "English" style is lot easier to make.

Looking at the pictures of your cases, there is one important respect in which they differ from the 19th century prototypes: they have surface-mounted hinges and locks. In the originals, these fittings were inletted. Not much you can do about that.

Stopped by the pawn shop today and put a Uberti sass pro 45 colt on lay a way, nice lightly used piece for a song and a dance...pics later...nice find though

Some of it I ordered a month to 5 weeks ago, but it all came in within two days. All got charged within a few days as well. I allotted the money back when I ordered it, but I forgot about two of them and about had a heart attack when I saw my bank balance.

Ordered a .45 colt conversion cylinder for my steel 51 colt clone last night.

Just bought a box of steel cased 9mm for $.50 a round . But hey ill use them to teach my son on my PCC. So its not a waste. Now I gotta find a few more boxs. So we can have a hour of range time. Not 5 min.

Added 2 boxes of Hornady American Whitetail 350 Legend ammo to the stash. Also bought a couple deer tags for my daughters who hunt, but one was fishing in Texas this past weekend. Looking forward to helping fill that second tag this week.

I picked up 200 rounds of Blazer 10MM and 150 .22

Blazer was $17/ 50rd box.

26" 870 supermag bbl ( used ) and 100 rnds of 223.

Checked the shop and my #1 hasnt sold yet.

Picked up this Bad Boy today...SASS PRO 45 COLT...

Pawn shop thought it was broke and needed repaired cause cylinder was stuck....cylinder shaft was not pushed in all the way...mid 300 OTD, smiling all the way...AWESOME...I needed/wanted to add a SA 45 Colt Cowboy to my cabinet...DONE

Not much, picked up a few boxes of .243 and .270 just because they were on the shelf in the local Wal-Mart.

1K 9mm Armscor 115 gr FMJ bullets. Private sale.

Took a chance on 4,000 SinterFire 40 cal 135gr bullets. Frangible, long for weight (no lead) so I'll have to experiment with how to best load them.

I got another Polymer 80 frame yesterday from MidwayUSA. This time I got a 940CL which is has the G19 grip length but designed for a G17/34 slide. Midway has them on sale for $99.99. Now to just decide what slide I want to use.
