Factors in the perfect storm of ammo shortage are pandemic, economic uncertainty, limited production, political tension, political anti 2A fears, new gun owners, new ammunition buyers, ...

IOW, when a non anti 2A Senate and POTUS are elected and a COVID-19 cure is found and the economy begins to recover (or 3 of those 4).
