Just wanted to put a shout out to X-treme Bullets for their customer service. I placed and order last month and when it arrived Monday one of the shipping boxes was damaged and one of the 500 count smaller bullet boxes was missing. I emailed them and as of last night they have already sent a replacement on its way,

Thank you X-treme Bullets for your excellent handling of this.

Probably no one is going to believe me, I have a hard time believing it myself. Earlier this month the same thing happened to me.
X-treme sent me one of those usps flat rate boxes that were susposed to have two 500 ctn boxes of 45-230rn and only one was there. Contacted them same day and they said they would send out one more immediately. They did. The original USPS box was not damaged enough to allow a box to come out. I think I admire their customer service, less so the shipping department.

Dcarr,
Funny you say that. One of the questions they asked me about his was if I thought the missing 500 count box got out of the shipping box or if I thought is was never there. My box was basically tore across the entire top so I figure it came out when that happened.

Your missing 500 count box, were they 45's?

Sounds like their CS has improved since they were bought by LAX...very encouraging. I mostly load with RMR, but Xtreme has some offerings for my purposes that RMR doesn't...it's just hard to go back to plated from jacketed

What did the packing slip say they shipped? Either they have a thief in their midst or the postal service does.
Extreme has gone through hard times but they stand behind their products and they make good products.
I order from them and RMR both. I plan to continue to do so. Neither has ever left me down.

Didn't know they survived their BK; I used to buy from them WAY back when they were known as Western Nevada West Coast Bullet

They didn't. Parent company Howell Munitions & Technology sold off both X-Treme bullets and Freedom Munitions.

Me too but when they were known as West Coast Bullet - http://tinnitusdesigns.com/xtreme-bullets/

"In 1990 there was a company called West Coast Bullet out of Carson, NV that made bullets for reloaders. The company sold and the name was changed to Accura. I believe Accura was located in Nampa, ID.

Shortly afterwards the original owners bought the company back and renamed it Xtreme. I believe this was 2004"
And now Accura sells Power Bond bullets.

Jake/RMR used to sell X-Treme and Power Bond bullets but now manufactures his own jacketed bullets.

Original packing slip said 2 had shipped. I'm not suggesting a thief, not primers :)
Customer service did right by me, i certainly will buy from them again.

Before that, they were known as the name I mentioned as they also did lead bullets. They sold the lead bullets to a guy who operated about 5 doors down from them; then they bought it back. There was also a shot tower about 2 blocks from them that has changed hands and names over the years. Used to live in Carson and went to all to buy bullets and shot. An excellent 1911 smith/maker named Terry Tussey was also in the industrial park and IIRC, he is still there.

As described in the Picayune thread, I ordered four x 500 Xtremes and received three boxes of bullets and an empty box! They made it up so I ordered more. I saw that the next order was correct and had the boxes and the invoice signed.

Hate to rain on your parade but, I'm going thru the same problem with them right now for 2x500 9mm 124gn fmj rn. bullets I ordered. Got them quickly but instead of 2x500 124's, I received 1x500 115's. Been trying to get this resolved since last week and now they won't respond to my phone calls or emails. Sketchy to say the least. About to flame them on social media if I don't hear from them soon.

@tucmox you are not raining on my parade I was just sharing my positive experience with them.

Your problem sounds more like and internal packaging/shipping issue where mine is an issue with the USPS so probably a little easier for them to deal with quickly. Were your packing slip and boxes initialed? That seems like their internal way of tracking who packaged what order.

On a positive note, my replacement bullets are out for delivery today. I did receive the request from USPS yesterday to bring in the box and contents received so they could look at it for their investigation into the claim filed by X-treme bullets.

I have been very pleased with them. On one order of several thousand bullets of different calibers early in the summer, the whole order got lost in transit. (it disappeared in Washington State per the tracking) I called and they put in a claim with USPS. They asked me to wait 10 days and I did. Then they sent me the whole order again after I called once the 10 days was up. I did wait on hold a few times, but I always got thru to them. Found them very helpful. Patience is required though.

I love their bullets. Here is my problem; they won't respond to numerous requests over the last 5 days for a status report. All they have to do is get back to me. If they send my bullets, great, but al least get back to me. Just in case, I just ordered a bunch from Everglades Ammo. Those guys sell quality stuff, free shipping, and it always comes quickly.

@tucmox maybe take a step back and give them a chance, "numerous requests over the last 5 days" seems a little intense especially given the current buying craziness. It really comes down to do you want them stopping everything to answer your call or email or would you rather them use that time to continue to figure out what happened to your order then they can give you an answer as opposed to "we are looking into it?"

May have to have some patience, sellers are overwhelmed these days.

I have a lost Midway package out there somewhere. Got the next order from them in a couple of days.

Shippers are hectic too.

Frustrating, I know.

Xtreme bullets has been top notch with every order I've made with them , and they are quick as hell in processing & shipping orders in my opinion.

There are a few things I can add to this. I think Accura bullets and West Coast were the same thing. I believe part of that company was sold to Hornady. X-treme broke off and was originally owned by a guy named Jim House. Good guy from what I understand. Jim House sold X-treme to Howell. We all know what Howell did with X-treme.
About the same time a pretty cool guy named Mike, who I believe was involved in the original Accura/West Coast company, was making muzzleloader bullets by the brand of Powerbelt. He started a line of pistol bullets and named them Powerbond. Then for a short time powerbond became Highborn Outdoors. After that, they changed the name of the pistol bullet company to Accura bullets again. RMR has a GREAT relationship with Accura bullets. We exchange info and often refer customers and potential employees to eachother when we can't meet their needs. I really like Mike and Jared at Accura. My philosophy is that there is more money to be made by working together than by being strict competitors. They seem to have a similar philosophy so we get along quite well. I really hope the new owner of X-treme has a different feeling about business. This thread gives me hope that X-treme can join the group of very friendly and positive companies in the bullet/ammo industry.
