Not only does it work, it does NOT use a MBF style bullet flipping ramp
the ramp is there.......for nostalgia. Thanks AmmoMike for the 3D printed feeder movement!


I think I'm hooked....thanks to AR-bossman, RedlegEd and jmorris.;)
 
Today I replaced the baffle above the bullet wheel with a redesigned green one, because with the tilt, boolits were not falling off the baffle (not enough slope). the green one prevents that. Last 3 pictures below:

first one with the old baffle where bullets could get stranded...the surface is slopped but not enough with the feeder sloped the opposite way:

Should do a little explaining:
The bullet drop wheel/plate has shaped holes with 2 diameter holes, one smaller than the other tangents connected.

That way, as long as the baffle above the wheel is no higher (minimum clearance) than a sideways bullet then bullets can only fall point down. Bullets that try to fall in base down are stuck part in and part out until they reach the knocker which knocks them back to the bottom.

So no flipping ramp or drop plate is needed. (and no patent infringement either)

Oh, and btw, the appendages that poke towards the center, work in conjunction with the little ribs in the rotating plate, to knock over standing bullets.

Man I need to get me a printer, I believe there's some cheap ones now that work pretty good

Troy, compared to buying a factory one, they are all cheap, especially when you consider what a MBF cost.....then add caliber kits.....then add another one for nose down.....and a case feeder. My large bed Creality wasn't cheap ($500), but it is compared to buying all that factory reloading equipment. A roll of plastic is only $19 to $25, and you can build several feeders with a couple of rolls. It's a tool that keeps on giving......
