Real guns that could be steampunk, space age or other fantastical guns

For a good selection of sci-fi looking guns, the competition world offers plenty of options.

USPSA/IPSC Open Class race guns with their red dots, compensators, and extended magazines are very sci-fi looking.
Pistols for bullseye matches, especially those from European companies like Walther and Pardini look very sci-fi.
Anything that's in the Open Class for 3 Gun matches, especially the shotguns, tend to have a futuristic look to them.
And high end air rifles and .22s for precision matches are generally made with lots of shiny metal and adjustable parts that look incredibly complicated.

That story is from 8 years ago and uses the same exact picture. Has anyone actually seen one in real life?

I'll go as far as saying Rossi worked up a Photoshop to drum up interest, and possibly a pre production prototype, but that was never a production gun

.....And curiouser, and curiouser ..... and ......

It came close enough that it got a UPC, but I don't know how many, if any, were actually produced and sold.

I've got a few that seem to belong in Sci-fi.

I am quite happy the admit that I have no idea what "steampunk" means.
It basically means a bunch of dorks who think brass on everything they own makes it look sophisticated, and elegant, and wearing clothing from the 20's and stupid waxed up mustaches is cool. Think hipster doofus with money going to a costume contest.

That being said, there are some cool things out there.

Not steam punk but I think space age for sure.
