Yeah, well, there's that ... but it sure is fugly. A tactical boxcutter.

Mine. Can't remember the name. Evenfall or something like that. Chinese. Has held up really well but the, presumably stainless, blade will not hold a razor edge under any circumstance.

Eafengrow, rather than Evenfall. The blade is marketed and marked as D2. Is it? The fact that it will not retain a razor edge for any length of time and that it’s a Chinese clone makes me question the D2 claim. It was less than $50 on Amazon, has held up well, and is a good design, so I’m not really able to complain. And it is my EDC, so I like it enough for that...

It's an Eafengrow copy of a Microtech SOCOM. They're poor quality knockoffs of American production and custom knives made by a Chinese factory.

I like this thread I makes me wonder if your EDC knife a defense tool or cutting tool or both? I guess that should be its own thread.

I switched to the Para 3 lightweight for this week. I love this knife!

Since I volunteer at a food pantry my EDC is first and foremost a cutting tool.

Mine are tiny cutting tools. I do have larger, stabbier knives but cannot carry them at work.

This is an old Delica. I reground the blade and dropped the tip. I wanted a more pointed tip that didn't stick out of the handle and the edge was way too thick to cut.

It would be an act of desperation for me to try and fight with a knife and at my age I am too slow to run away. I just hope the situation can be avoided entirely.
