I just got my early Replica Arms M1860 Army revolver from the OutlawKid who performed his slick action job to perfection. The gun now operates like it came off the assembly line last week, am looking forward to posting a range report!

Here's my current C&B line-up, from left to right;
- '76 Colt 2nd Gen 1851 Navy .36
- '93 Uberti 1858 Remington .44
- early 90's Uberti 1847 Walker .44
- '63 Replica Arms 1860 Army .44
- early 70's ASM (defarbed) 3rd Model Dragoon .44
- early 70's Rigarmi 1858 Remington NM Navy .36
- mid 70's Colt 2nd Gen 1860 Army .44

Awesome collection! Love the Replica Arms Model 1860 cased set!

Glad you enjoyed the work i did! Its ctually a whole lot slicker and better timed than stock off the assembly line. Now it has proper timing and internals smoothed with a perfect cylinder gap and no chance of cap jams. The gun had a quite a bit of issues but in the end i was happy with how it came out.

Eye Candy. :)

The work includes a two part wire spring replacement for the flat trigger/bolt spring, cam and bolt adjustment and timing to be perfected, a cap post and action sheild at the hammer...this keeps cap jams from happening and keeps cap fragments and fouling out of the guns internal mechanism, lighter hammer pull and if needed an adjustment of the cylinder gap. The gun will run very smooth with a crisper trigger pull and lighter hammer pull and no flat springs to break aside from the main spring which can be replaced easily if it ever does break.

OutlawKid did his work on an 1851 Navy that wasn't great out of the box. I knew it had some quirks but didn't realize how bad until I got it back and put a couple cylinders through it.

It's true, better than new.

Mr.electricfactory...did you get around to checking out the .36 cal custom bullets i sent you along with the empty paper hull cartridges and maybe assemble a few? They would make a nice addition to your cased gun set up.

As would Siskel and Ebert would say, 2 THUMBS UP!
Just got my 1851's back and can only say, I like these! Outstanding workmanship.
Thanks much OutlawKid

Thank you sir! Your two piettas were a great template...love working them new piettas and in my opinion they are top of the line.
