Wish I could. Was walking past the ammo section and heard a a guy say " IS THAT 9MM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!. He bought 4 boxes as did i. and at 2018 prices to boot! Lets see, at a reported $5/round on the streets of LA thats $1K worth!!.

Bi Mart is da Bomb in Grants pass for ammo deals, Gundeals too ! I bought a TC Compass 6.5 Creedmore for a daughter in law in there last year for $239 ! They were selling Ruger 10-22 BX Triggers and the dual 25 shot Ruger 10-22 mags less than anywhere I could find on line a couple years back. What do you exspect from a "2nd Amendment Sanctuary county " ? :)

I like bi-mart. Evert since Fred Meyer started wearing a dress and stopped selling guns and ammo they are about the only deal on the So OR coast.

Cancel alert, I called to see if i could get more and they said its all 9mm GONE!! (right after i left) this is nuts.

Yes, I bought 2 and wife bought other 2. Same deal with first guy. Even more amazing that it went that fast. Think shelf was full and a case was on the floor.
Last week when I went in, 9mm was gone within the hour of the store opening.
Big 5 is a good spot to look too.

I miss BiMart. Loved that store when I lived in Oregon. I was sad to hear they filed for bankruptcy but I am glad now to see they did not go under.

They always have the best gun and ammo prices, though their selection is limited.

Might add last time i bothered to look all the component shelves were empty as well. No powder, primers or bullets ect. Ammo shelves now bear signs roughly saying "NO HANDGUN AMMO ". Customers often going verbally "ballistic" on poor counter staff and threatening stuff like militia and something called "the republican army". Had to step in an calm one guy down as i like the counter lady and he would not stop and was getting very loud. Calmly Explained to him both I and the counter gal supported his views but he was only hurting her ears. He agreed and left. She said thanks but this sort of thing is getting worse and and there's 20201020_120104.jpg a code for "backup" if out of hand. BTW masks do nothing for voice volume.

I asked a clerk if any more was coming and he said the 9mm was a surprise arrival. He added .38 special or 357 Mag was made out of "unobtainium"

Yeah, the only two calibers that I consider myself low on ... .38 SPL and .357 Mag ... And I ask myself: are things getting that pathetic that I think I'm low on a caliber when I've got at least 500 rounds of each left in my stash? Then I answer myself: absolutely, yes!

I feel sorry for the poor folks that have to man the ammo counters in retail stores these days.

Yeah, hate to see people take out bull(redacted) rules on the staff; same goes for mask rules.
WalMart always was weird about ammo; they had 100 packs of 9mm for less than $14, and I can't load them that cheaply. I was always asked at checkout if the ammo was for a handgun; I always said no. It was for a carbine...

Local WalMart has been out of any pistol ammo for 9 months now. Lots of shotgun ammo though..

Its threads like this that make me glad I reload most of my ammo and that I have enough stuff on hand to load at least 2,000 rounds of 9mm and then I can cast all the 9mm bullets I will ever need. I really feel bad for the new guys just now trying to get a gun and some ammo. I wouldn't buy ammo even if it were on the shelf. I leave it for the ones looking for ammo.

I gave my youngest son a S&W model 915 9mm and 200 rounds of ammo to go with the 250 rounds he managed to find before things really got bad.

I think reloads are going to be very, very popular. Original milsurp ammo too. Check tok ammo sales (seen $1/round on net).

Local Murdocs and Jax has had 9mm..2 boxes per and it doesn't last long but they are getting it.

I have lots but if I have a spare $100, I get some of the calipers I shoot..either at a store or online..

Federalammo has AE 115 gr fmj 9mm @ $22.99/box 50 at the moment (limit 2), plus tax & shipping.

Never thought I’d say that was a “reasonable” price.... but there it is.

Well bi-mart did it again today and maybe a sign of change. Ammo shelf had maybe 3 to 5 dozen boxes of federal and blazer 9mm in 115 and 147. That was at 10 am to day and sure it went fast at sub .13/rd prices. Not so good news is there was NO powder or primers to be seen in the reloading section

It was the same at my local Bi-Mart. Lots of 9mm, from Federal to Blazer Brass, to Winchester in 100, 150, and 200 round count boxes.
But I am sure it went all the same day. Nothing at all for Friday's sale day. Looking forward to next Wednesday though.
