Just bought a Sig Sauer P320 X VTAC

Was wanting to put a red dot on it so, I bought a Romeo 1.

Then I found out a Romeo 1 won't fit on a VTAC, it takes a Romeo 1 PRO, which is a $100.00 more. How convenient

So, question is, Is the Romeo 1 PRO stand up to it's name, is it worth the extra money and how does it compare to some of the other quality red dots on the market?

Looking at the 6 moa, research says it's better inside of 35 yds.
 
I have three Romeos, Two Trijicon RMRs and zero Holosuns, however, I think Holosun is the current tech leader for micro red dots. Check out the 507c and 510c for examples. The lead changes every few months but I think Holosun is also cheaper. Trijicon and Holosun are in a legal battle. Vortex also has the Venom which is $250. You will have to research which model you need among these. They are all available on Amazon.

The Romeo Pro is worth the extra over the original Romeo if for no other reason than it won't fail at the most inconvenient time. My Romeo, that came on a RX slide, usually works, but a good friend had 2 fail on him in the middle of matches.

The Go-To for tactical guys seem to be the Delta Point or the RMR. They are very reliable but spendy. The Delta Point was the choice of the Army for the M17/18. The RMR is very nice, but I was distracted by the housing shape.

I have a Venom that I've used on my Ruger 10/22 and Mark II. Good value for an entry level red dot...a little small for my taste.

I'm a fan of the Holosun line and am having a HE507C-GR-V2 fitted to my SIG 320 slide. I also have a HE510C-GR Elite atop my PCC. I really like the availability of the green recticle and I like the 32MOA ring surrounding the 2MOA dot...very easy to pickup upon presentation
 
I see on the interweb, they say the 6 moa is better for 35 yds. and closer and the 3 moa is more for precise shooting.

I'm an old codger and it sounds like the 6 mos would be easier to pick up. I really don't want the dot to cover a target. Like to see a comparison.
