Downloads of Lee Precision equipment, including many discontinued items, are available for download at this section of the Lee Precision website FWIW under "Help", then "Instructions".

There's also all the detailed and gushy self-backslapping embellishments firsthand from the late Richard Lee regarding Lee Precision items printed in tomes available for review in digital format at this site.

Hardcopy of those various works can be found for purchase as well, some of the ones no longer in print are less common and may be priced accordingly.

Thanks, as always!

De nada, literally. Zero incremental costs.

Of all the hard copy reloading manuals I've purchased, I've found the Lee 2nd Edition the least value to price ratio, just IMO. Especially after finding the digital copy available. But I still like bound hard copy for many things and doubt I'll ever make any efforts to part with it.

Are we talking bout the same primer assembly. All plastic thin brittle plastic at that. Anyway , not to Jack the op’s post, some criticism is helpful, I wanted a semi progressive press and caught the Lee Classic on sale a few years ago. I was already decapping with a universal die before wet tumbling. Did not like that priming system so went back to capping with a hand tool a few hundred cases, then remove the decapping pin from the size die and just go from there. 4 pulls one loaded round. Not my 550 but works all the same. 38’s a few nines and 45Colts. The disk powder measure works well also for my skill level with the pistols.
Yep same primer assembly—like it the best by far and safer than the tubes. No reported incidents of explosions unlike the tubes.

Okay so I backorder one from Midsouth. Lee said that all thier presses are now going to authorized distributors, Midsouth being one of them.

The documentation on what comes with the press sucks. What did you get with yours?
The reason I ask, is that I want to get all the upgrades while waiting to get it i.e. case ejector, powder drop (Unless my RCBS will work with it) Auto prime system, case feeder. Not ecactly sure what the options are yet, what did you add? Also, I have dies and shellholder, do I need to buy a turret, or does it come with one?

What I ordered: https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item/0000690064/classic-4-hole-turret-press
Should’ve bought mine—I’m getting rid of most of that stuff too:). Case feeder doesn’t work with the turret press. One turret comes with the press.

I sent you a message thursday, no response. I figured you weren't interested. :(

The old saying, "To each their own.".. I'm not a tool snob or tool envious, find what works for you and fills your needs, buy it and be happy.

I have 3 Lee presses and an RCBS JR3 single stage press. The 3 Lee are an old style original 3 hole turret, a Pro1000 3 hole and a Pro4000 ABLP 4 hole. I use each and every one of them for different tasks and I use them all regularly. I am using the 3 hole turret for all my pistol load development and short runs, also using the 3 hole turret to load my 223 and have it set up this way; station one empty and where I prime prepped cases, station two had the powder thru die and my Auto Drum measure, station three is the bullet seating die. This has proven to work very well and is fairly quick while I can still remove and inspect after each operation w/o any hassle.

If I were buying new for the first time and if I knew all I would be reloading are pistol and 223 or other short cases like the Grendall, ARC or Legend I would not hesitate to look at the new model Lee value turret press

I just bought a new "Classic" Lee turret press kit on ebay but expensive at $350. I've put off reloading for a couple years but with the ammo situation now and winter coming it was time to "pull the trigger." I've got the 38spl/357 carbide dies ordered and now have to find a good case tumbler. I've probably got 10,000 38 & 357 brass cases to clean and de-prime. I'll be spending a lot of time here now.

I bought the Frankford Arsenal wet tumbler because it was cheaper. I used it all summer in 110+ degree heat, and it's still running. Dawn and Lemishine for 30 min. with steel pins, clean enough to be factory.

I also ordered everything Inline Fabrication makes for it. Did the same for my Chucker. The items are significant improvements, and good to ask for Xmas presents. It will cost $200 for what I have, but worth every penny.
