Three inchers are Special, 38 and 44 Special that is.
60-4 top 696 bottom.

My idea of the perfect S&W J frame was a Model 60 with a 3" heavy barrel and a round butt frame configuration. A Model 36 made that way was also at the top of the my want list.

I’ve been known to travel down that 3” barrel path once in a while...

Dan Wesson 3” VH 15-2 .357
S&W 3” Model 317 .22LR
Ruger 3” GP 100 .44 Spl.
S&W 3” Model 13 .357

Stay safe.

Party Foul. Slipping the "G word" into a revolver photo. Shame, shame. :D

Can a 2.75" Ruger Speed Six play in the 3 inch playground? Ruger didn't make many 3" Sixes. 2.75 is the closest I've found (at an acceptable price) so far. The last 3" Six I saw go thru GunBroker went for over $1,000 if I remember correctly.
But if you let 2.75" in, you don't have grounds to keep the 2" guns out either. See what I mean:

My Dan Wesson M14-2 wears a 3" EWK extra-heavy shroud with his conversion sight and a 1:12" twist tube. It also uses the factory birdshead-style "combat" grip.
My 3” is an EWK set as well. The others are all factory sets.

Stay safe.
