Accumulating firearms since the early Eighties, reaching 20+ happened some time ago, so there is no “if.” The one that has remained with me the longest, since 1985, is an S&W Model 58, .41 Magnum, one of my duty revolvers; down from a pair.
I still have another of my duty revolvers, my first GP100, and have added more, with 3” to 6” barrels. This is one of those perfect-for-me handguns.
I have accumulated S&W J-Frames; stainless steel, Airweight, and Airlite; .38 Special, and one .32 H&R. The light-alloy .38 J-snubs have become painful to shoot, but they don’t eat much, my wife likes them, and my grandsons might well use them, someday.
I have accumulated several 2.25” to 4” SP101 revolvers, since 1997. This is another of those perfect-for-me handguns.
I used .40 SIG P229 duty pistols, 2004-2015, and kept one of them, down from the pair-and-a-spare.
I switched to 9mm Glock duty pistols in 2015, and still have them, after retiring. A pair and a spare.
My first love, among handguns, was the 1911. I have not kept most of them, but still have a few, two of which have been duty and personal carry pistols.
I still have two of my several duty shotguns, a Remington 870P, and a Benelli M2. After retiring. I added a second M2, and a Remington 870 Marine Magnum TAC-14.
I have Browning BLR lever-action rifles; one a Takedown; both .308 Winchester.
That is 20+, so I will stop here. These are firearms I have used; not merely collected, though some are retired, or being kept for younger family members. Some are shared with other adults in the household, such as the pump guns and some of the revolvers, though I have not listed any that my wife considers to be primarily hers.
