Why Are Suppressors So Popular?

Local silencer dealer is also a range, so you can come in to visit and shoot with your can while waiting for your papers to clear. When you leave, it goes back in the safe.

I dunno if I would rent out silencers to be used on guns that were not also rentals... unless the renter was liable for replacement in the event of a baffle strike.

That's how I advised the local store & range that has a bunch of my demos to operate with renting them out; make sure the renter signs something, because I don't do warranty repairs for abuse or stupidity.

Of course, the first rebuild I had to do was one of the range employees who put the Phoenix IX (a 9 ounce 9mm pistol can) on the store's M16 with the booster installed. Yeah. Can held together, but full auto 5.56 made a mess of the aluminum baffles. Only other time was one of my Five By Fives that a group rented along with the same M16 and proceeded to do mag dump after mag dump. The inside of the blast chamber was completely coated in copper that had melted off the bullet jackets. That can also stayed together, but the bullets were getting squishy in the bore from the heat, were not stable on exit and had multiple baffle strikes.
