Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

On Friday I was in a part of town the I don't go very often so I stopped in at a LGS. I have been looking at AKs for the last six months but with the crazy market just had not been able to find one. I wanted one with traditional wood furniture but had not seen one for sale except the used ones with the really high price tag. When I walked the I spotted a Zastava M70 ZPAP on the shelf with blond wood. The price was reasonable so I just couldn't pass it up. Now waiting for the BG check to clear. Today someone on Armslist had 500 rounds of 7.63x39 for sale also at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go shooting.

I ordered a Krieger barrel last week and just made a deal on a Remington Take-off HS Precision stock for a build that I have in the works.

Today was an ammo day

2 boxes S&B 8x57 Mauser
2 boxes S&B 32 acp. I own no firearms in .32 but it's hard to find now and I I kinda want an older Beretta 80 series
1 box Winchester Power Point .22LR, kinda wish I could find more of this, 42gr@1320fps

And got lucky at Wal-Mart, 1 100 rd case of Federal 12 gauge target load and 250rds of Winchester .22mag. But I missed out on getting .22lr because someone was greedy and bought all $600 of the .22 they had that was just stuck out

Yesterday I purchased a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16 FFP scope,,,
I'm mounting it on a CZ-512 Carbine as my NRL22 rifle.

And a bunch of other general gun stuff,,,
Cabela's stores are dangerous.

As a matter of fact I have, and just about thirty minutes ago. Nothing special, just a couple of parts for a GSG 1911 22 I'm upgrading.

The internet is really great at getting you to spend money.

Sunday last I bought a Vortex Diamondback Tactical scope for my CZ 512 Carbine.

The dang scope is almost as long as the rifle barrel,,,
Actually, with the hood it is an inch longer.

I'm going to try a few NRL22 matches.

Haven't posted anything on this thread for some time now. Yesterday I got a used 7mm-08, 26" barrel from the LGS for my Thompson / Center Encore. It's a T/C barrel from their custom shop with a scope base and rings already on it. No visible wear at all, not even in the throat right in front of the chamber. My "dead of winter" project for Jan. / Feb. this coming year is converting the Encore from a 15" barreled 7mm-08 handgun to a light, handy Encore rifle in 7mm-08 with a laminated thumbhole stock. IMG_0308.JPG .. IMG_0307.JPG .. IMG_0317.JPG ....Now I'm wishing I had done this sooner. Deer season is here and when I hunt in rifle zones there are some big hills and I've been thinking how nice it would be to have a lighter rifle.

A very rare, Rear Sling Swivel for my VZ-58 (Czechpoint).

The problem is that hours After ordering last night from "Gunexpert" in the Czech Republic ("order is complete"), the final step came later in a separate email and won't let me have access, via a blue link, to the payment page.
This other service seems to be required to convert dollars to Euros, but it doesn't work.

A friend sold me three thousand SP primers for $40/1000 he had stock piled. Looking at Gunbroker auctions for SP primers running about $200/thousand I feel pretty good about my purchase. Recently bought a Lee Classic turret press kit, dies, powder, brass tumbler, bullets and everything else I need to start my reloading venture. I've saved enough brass to last the rest of my life and then some.

I purchased a JTS M12 Ak from Palmetto plus three 10 round mags, a Vortex sparc and a truchoke tactical choke for it. I have an excessive amount of steel shot I'll never use, so this looks like a fun way to use some up!

Picked up 1200 primers today.
300 CCI small magnum pistol, 300 CCI BR-4 small rifle, 300 CCI large magnum pistol and 300 Federal large pistol primers.
Had to visit six different gun shops to get them...four of the shops had no primers whatsoever.

Attempted the purchase a second time.

But the purchase on a Czech accessories website (--in the Czech Republic--) had a link to a payment page.
The "blue link" won't let us access the website which accepts credit cards.

just yesterday (so i dont have it yet) i purchased a G37 with 4 mags and 1100 rounds (speer mix of ball, gold dot, and frangable) for $560. i couldnt say no even if its .45 GAP. i have owned guns with even more obscure ammo so im happy with the purchase.

My stamp came in! :D

So, I picked up a 5/8 to 1/2 adapter to fit the 22/45 just to hear what .22lr subsonics sounded like through the .30 cal suppressor.
