Two here, both old originals. 3" Bulldog carried with Lyman 429421 hollow points cast soft and a sensibly light (6.5) dose of Unique and an Undecover 38 with 148 grain hbwc and 2.7 grains of Bullseye. I like Charters but the actions are grittier than my Smiths.

I have an original first generation Charter Arms Undercover in .38 Special from back in the day when they were made in Stratford, Connecticut. It is a well made gun of the era and this was before Charter Arms had financial issues and quality control issues in the 1990s.

I'm not sure on the quality of the current production guns by MKS.

Looks just the like the one I had so many years ago. My first .38 Special snubnose revolver and it can be credited into getting me started in reloading as I loved trying out new loads in it! Had a Bianchi upside down shoulder holster for it (think it might have been their Model 9-R), and I was good to go!

The cylinder release is a push forward, like a S&W.

It's a great little gun. I had one in the 80s and it would bind when it got hot. I'm sure they fixed that, though.

I like mine. The .45 Pitbull is bigger than the .44 Bulldog, but the ammo is easier to find yet it still fits in my jacket pocket.

I still want a boomer big time though:)
