Is anyone else waiting along time for something ordered?

It's not just items that we normally buy every day. Ordered some things for the wife from QVC ususally two days. Been over 3 weeks now and they say it's enroute

i work for a national retail chain that does a large amount of eCom, all logistics carriers are overwhelmed right now. Our call centers are getting 40,000+ calls per day and they are almost all WISMO.

Had to return a Wilson Combat 45acp barrel for exchange back in mid-November. Wilson Combat has confirmed a replacement barrel will be going out, but they are backordered and have no idea when they will have them. As long as I have it by spring it'll be all good.

LaRue Ultimate Upper.
"Status changed to GTG.''

Kinda confusing because the other parts shipped, just not the kit. Likely just means they're waiting on something, or I'm in a que. Not a big deal. I think there's a wait list for the kits.

Have 4 Midway orders somewhere between here and Missouri. Two of which I wonder if I will ever see

Guess I should consider myself lucky after reading this as I'm down to only one MidwayUSA order missing (2+ weeks) in the vast wilderness we call the USPS. First journey saw the parcel overshoot the house to the shores of Lake MI some 2+ hours north of us, it next supposedly ventured to Pittsburg and must have enjoyed the visit enough to prolong stay. If the weather were any better I might be jealous of all the scenic points it's apparently passed thru.
Imagine once it does head back towards me it'll experience what used to be referred to as the Indianapolis sort, now known as the CHAOS of the Midwest and not too surprisingly any tinge of travel envy on my part ends at mention of that.

Major appliances as well. Order a basic double built-in. 2 months delivery.

On the bright side, I only had to wait about 2 weeks on a new SIG.

Yeah, I ordered a couple cases of ammo back in late may, early june-ish. Gave me an october delivery date, then october came and got a January delivery date.

I just ordered a Krieger barrel thats 5 months out. They usually run 3 or 4 months behind. McMillan usually runs behind about the same as Krieger does. I paid a deposit on a Nightforce Scope thats back ordered.

i ordered bullets from desperado cowboy bullets in WA on 12/5 and they arrived 12/15 USPS

Yes I ordered a bunch of SKS stripper clips from Slovakia and it appears they are stuck somewhere between here and there.

I stopped in my LGS yesterday afternoon and two men came in to pick up their twin Henry rifles that had just arrived after being ordered in July. The new owner's were thrilled to finally receive them.

The US Postal service is a total disaster right now. UPS and FEDEX are fine...but USPS? Yikes. I ordered some brass from Grafs on Dec 3'd, got wind that it will be sipping USPS, I can't wait to see how long it will take those idiots to get a package from Mo to IL...my guess? Weeks.

Absolutely nothing to do with the thread. BUT!!!

Must be my local branch of the UPS. UPS in my neighborhood is the pitts. Maybe I’m just on the tail end of an overloaded driver, late evening deliveries that not uncommonly get delayed until the next day. Read Friday’s deliveries coming in on Mondays ,late Mondays I’ll take the USPS any day over UPS, and FEDX would always be my first choice, if I had a choice. And if available I’ll always pick Amazon for on line stuff.

I ordered a pair of boots. They were shipped on December 6. Just arrived yesterday on December 19. Seller was 400 miles away. Sent by USPS. Two weeks in transit.

I've been waiting for a few items that are stuck at the Denver sorting facility for two weeks. Nothing that I can't wait for. I feel bad if someone's waiting for medication or medical supplies. I do get a kick out of the rants.

Up until a shipment I'm waiting on now USPS has been flawless. In almost every instance (including one or two in December) the package has arrived a day earlier than their original delivery projection when the package entered their system.

I recently ordered some pistol sights. The package was accepted by USPS on Mon Dec 17. It sat in that status all week. Within the last 24 hours (weekend) it has made steady progress and now says it'll be here in a few days.

There's a post office annex in a store where I shop. This year has had the longest lines BY FAR. I can't imagine what their volumes are like.

I am ready to wait! I have only been waiting 2 weeks for my gun powder. My doctor says he ordered Covid 19 serum 3 months ago and it ain't there yet.
I am seriously outraged by this situation............... and my doctor is mad about his situation too! :)
