We are having a blizzard, so J frame in Parker pocket

Three of my carry favorites, all are 40 S&W.
Glock 23 minimum carry, quick trip to the store, pick up pizza, walking the dogs.
Glock 22/35 grip accommodates my hand better, these two pistols are preferred.
Glock 23 and 35 have Trijicon HD's the 22 has Truglo TFO.

First, Jeepnik wins the prize for Most Unusual Carry Rig. I grew up wanting an AMT Backup because all the magazines said they were great. My mother said that instead of an AMT, I could make a gun shape with my fingers and yell, “Pow,” so I went with that.

Now that I am in my 50s and Florida’s temp is in its 90s, I’ll try out this:

642s, OWB

I don’t buy $1 rounds of .38SP, so backwards FWC will have to do.

I often use a vest that is sold for things like photo people and such. Many pockets but super light. Covers my belt enough for me to still keep one of my 1911's. When I don't want to wear that I will drop down to a fanny pack and an old Kel-Tec P11. Have a Ruger LCPII that is always with me. Goes in the pocket of whatever pants or shorts I wear that day. At times it's the only gun I have. It's kind of like that old commercial Karl M used to do. Don't leave home without it :D
God made man a man-purse and called it “Vest.” I can’t wait till it’s warm enough to put a vest on

Whether in the Rockies, an Austin Healy, the theater or an ice-shanty, a Vest is always in good fashion and good form.:)
And keeps a pistol in a much more convenient location…;)

I have even foregone my cumbersome tool belt for a Blackader carpenter’s vest.:D

A year later I have switched it up, I've been moving away from the thumb safety for carry and really digging the DA/SA this year.

Weather doesn't really factor, as anything roughly Glock 19 sized fits conceals fine under any t-shirt I'd leave the house in.

Even posting this, I've been pondering switching it up to my new to me P2000 in .40. Same times and hits at the range and holds 50% more per mag, and about 1oz lighter fully loaded.

But I love how this'n shoots big ol' fat n slow.

When it gets hot out I wear a Polo shirt or a button down shirt that are never tucked into my pants or shorts. I still carry the same line-up I use year round: a Kahr CM9, a S&W Model 649, or a Model 638. I like DeSantis SOF-TUCK IWB holsters. If I want to just carry the minimum then it's a KelTec P3AT in a holster in the front right pocket of my jeans or cargo shorts. Left front pocket has my cell phone and the back right pocket has a Kershaw Leek in it.

Hot July 5th in my office.... 20210705_130112.jpg I am running the semi tendering the sprayer in a 180acre field. Temp is 94 wind is 4mph. It is hot...no shade. The products we use are corrosive, much of it is fertilizer. Liquid fertilizer is worst of all.

This is what I call a low risk area. Lol

I just backed my semi ¾mile down this road because there sre two bridges on the other end that I dare not cross. 16255194493435439679223295698221.jpg
I enjoy fine pistols as much as the next guy,but if I happen to lose my lcp crawling around under this sprayer or other piece of equipment.....its not going to be a disaster.
I bet I am harder on pistols than most.
Some days when I come in for the night, the lcp gets stripped and dunked in the sink with hot water running over it.(liquid fertilizer is nasty stuff) 16255201216181468426946537734859.jpg . Air compressor dried and oiled. Ready to go again.

Yeah, I bet.

I consider myself harder on my stuff than most, but the worst I'll do is cover it in sawdust running the chainsaw/chipper or scratch it a bit changing oil in my tru... aw crap I don't have a truck anymore, that's really sad. I guess changing the oil of my more economical and family friendly SUV.

Most often either the Beretta 1919 or FN Vest Pocket but lately the Colt 1908 Vest Pocket has gotten to go WalkAbout as well.

OP here. Lived in FL since Dec. It mostly always hot.
Not difficult to a Glock 23/32 size pistol IWB everywhere, add a PM9 in pocket for additional options.

South Mississippi has 3 seasons. Football, rain, and summer.

Glock 26 with 12 round mag, 15 round reload, in an AIWB holster daily. Regardless of season.

They something similar up here in the upper Midwest but our seasons are Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Road Construction.

But after living in Alaska, folks up here don't know how good they have it.
