Help picking my first blackpowder revolver

I have always thought that the .36 Remington was called the "Remington Navy"? I have not heard the term "1858 Navy". But maybe I don't get out much, except into the wilderness. And not that it matters.

I've also heard, but don't know, that some of the Remington Navies are on a large frame, and some not. ? I think mine is a smaller frame, but I don't have a .44 Remington to compare it to. I just wonder if the revolver above, in Onty's post is built on a large frame? I suppose that would be one strong revolver.

One thing I can say for sure is that my Remington Navy is extremely accurate, so I can kind of understand a target version in .36 caliber.

Okay, realize now that the originals were two different frame sizes, (quite a bit different) between the Army and Navy models. Also that the "1858" term is relatively modern, and they were originally referred to as...wait for it....either the "Remington Army Model", .44, or "Remington Navy Model" .36 cal.

Again, I suppose an Army Model, in .36", would be one strong puppy. Probably stuff it with 4f no problem. Or not. ?? I wouldn't, just saying.

58 Remington are great but it doesn't matter you will buying more . so the next one can be a 51 colt you will love it
