Well hell, I read the headline and thought someone was attempting to startup a crowd sourced primer factory! I’d invest in a primer company!

I did notice that they advertise Indiana Jones 5 in the description. "Indiana Jones and the lost wheelchair". Doesn't he carry a Webley top break in some of the movies?
All I can say is, at that price there'd better be at least one box of ammo.

I think its a either posting mistake or a publicity stunt. If not, and it sells i also have items from the Stembridge/MGM prop sale and may be rich?. After his last performance in with Fisher i think its value is greatly reduced and retirement is in order.

Well if you were a failed celebrity real estate dealer, currently dabbling in some really big, huge in fact political shenanigans' and wanted to flaunt, FLAUNT money they may or may not have, what better than the equivalent of a fake gun(oh, right, inoperative) t o hang with the very used golf clubs. It is a one of a kind, thankfully. I can see it now, the huge headlines, and maybe a guest spot in the next Indiana Jones movie, yeah that works, ROFLMAO!!!

One the items form the Prop sale was an repop 1890 Rem Police used in the "peacemakers" series with Tom Berenger and some movies like "Comanche". While externally fine the Cylinder was a mess. Originally a .357 The cylinder was crudely re chambered to 5 in 1 blanks. I offered it at auction with a $500 reserve and no takers.

...I'd pay $500 for it if Harrison Ford hand delivered it in a stormtrooper costume.

Maybe Harrison can pick you up in his plane and fly you out to the house and you can pick it up personally.

I don't believe that Wyatt Earp's gun used at the O.K. Corral (if it could be located and provenance absolutely proven) would fetch anywhere near that amount of coin ~ maybe $1,000,000, but not much more.

I alao think any self-respecting gun true aficionado / collector would much rather have a proven firearm from from any famous / infamous historical figure (e.g. Cody, Earp, Hardin, James, etc.).

Franky, I wouldn't pay more than $30,000 for that particular movie prop gun and I think that is pushing it. Just my unqualified $0.02.

Seriously? It will be interesting to see exactly how they authenticate it. All of the scams out there, you could never trust it for $5000.

That's 1/4th what it cost to shoot the entire movie. I say we bring in Rick Harrison to haggle with the guy.

"We have a lot of expenses to cover, here, 20$, best I can do..." :D

OTOH, I would love to know the name of the person who was willing to spend 5M on that thing.
