My traveling companion is 107 (or 108) years old and the product of JMB's first marriage.

My favorite...that is a very difficult question. I'd say off the top it's going to be the one I'm carrying at the moment. If I trust it enough to carry it then I have faith in its reliability, durability, accuracy and ergonomics. Today, that happens to be the Sig P365.

A Glock 19 with night sights. No picture because everyone knows what one looks like.

I'd have to say my Springfield Range Officer target is my favorite. My Ruger 22/45 never fails to make me smile though.

I don’t own my favorite semiauto. I’m not exactly sure what it would be but I’m ready for the supply to get back to normal so I can keep spending my money looking for it.

But, but, but, but there are so many to choose from. OK, I'll choose. If it's a 1911 it's my favorite. All the others are just pretenders.

Right from the box my Browning Hi-Power Mk.II was ready to go! Finally a Hi-Power that had sights I could easily see, a thumb safety that I could easily use, and a trigger that was light, crisp, and smooth with very little in the way of take-up (and this is without having to remove the magazine disconnector). The only thing I changed was the factory grips, replacing them with Pachmayrs.


If we're talking about a modified gun (though it did come from the "factory" so to speak), was my Colt Combat Commander with customization courtesy of Colt's own Custom Shop. As accurate as a Gold Cup without being so fussy about ammo! And as reliable as any tuned 1911 I might add!


Now except for the hard chrome plating, done by Ron Mahovsky of Metalife, my Beretta Model 70S is also box stock, without anything else being done to it or from having any parts replaced! Definitely the most reliable and durable of any .22 pistol I have ever owned (though I have to say my Ruger Mk.II has also been rock solid all these years as well).

My favorite? Any of a dozen and counting 1911s, all in .45ACP. Why? Because life is too short to shoot a lesser pistol in a less capable caliber.

A tank to carry, but a great pistol. Pricey, but great.

All the rage(At least for me anyway.)in the early 2000's . Been dreaming of turning this into a BBQ gun. Refinishing it and getting it some fancy wood grips. Or at least the waffle grips it originally came with.

There is no factory hard chromed P7 Series

One of my favorite pistols is my Glock 34. I like it so much I bought a second one.



I do need to take a better photo of them.

My Glock 20. I have fancier, pricier, and prettier pistols in my collection, but the 20 is as pleasant to shoot as it is powerful.

All are 9mm.
My favorite all around do anything gun would be this one.

My favorite range gun for shooting small groups would be this one.


My favorite carry gun is a gen 3 17(only due to the limited capacity of the 1911)
