S&W revos have been rediscovered the last couple years, including by folks who sold theirs some years back (like moi ). Been happy to find some Model 10s and their stainless variants.
Of course, haven't seen a thing lately at my local shop; as was quoted by a PP, "anything with a trigger" is selling.

Revolvers in general have been becoming more popular the past few years.

Keep your eyes open in pawn shops. I saw this Model 15-3 at a local pawn shop 8 months ago for $499. I went back a month ago and it was still there. I was interested in a 581 they had but they wouldn't budge on the 581.

Fast forward another week and I saw the Pawn Shop had the 581, the 15-3 and a Model 14 listed on Gun Broker. The 581 sold for nearly $600 which was a lot considering how ugly it was. But the 15-3 and 14 didn't sell. They dropped the price and relisted by lowering the price. I went in and inspected the gun, then researched it. The 15-3 was never made in a 6" barrel. Someone had put a model 14 barrel on it. It had a factory trigger stop and a longer rear sight that extended all the way to the untapered frame edge. It looks like this was originally a 2" gun. The trigger and action is light, smooth and rock solid! I bought it yesterday for $330 in person. It's shooter grade due to the barrel swap, but that's okay for me. I bet this baby can shoot! 128D79AB-219A-4845-9758-D3D064055BFC.jpeg

Keep your eyes open.
