Elections, riots, frauds etc. Got tired of it all & decided to do something GOOD.
So, I bought from Gunparts (Numrich) a target trigger for my beloved model 15-2 S&W.
A TT is about 1/2" wide and serrated. makes for more comfortable shooting, at least in my opinion.
(and since the revolver is mine, my opinion is what counts)
Polished all the wear surfaces of the new trigger, then transferred all the little pieces from the old trigger into the new. Note: them little pins are a ppppain in the derriere. Now my M15 is just as smooth as before, but the trigger feels nice to me and still has a clean light SA break and a smooth light DA pull.
And, for a couple of hours, my mind was on good things and happy results.

Yes... a nice break for the cluster that is on TV. I’m looking forward to my newest additions being here. I got one yesterday from a coworker (new in box 10/22 wood/blue carbine) and I’m waiting on a couple antiques to occupy my time. The antiques sadly are in decent shape so I won’t get to tinker much, but I get to spend time making 32 rimfire conversion brass so that I can shoot that one. I think I’m just going to make cylinder length adapters to shoot 22 colibri ammo for now. No sense in building up a bunch of stuff to shoot extra weak 32s when I can have as much fun for cheaper with the colibri ammo.

I'm not doing any gunsmithing but for the same reasons you mention I am paying more attention to my revolvers, smokeless and cap and ball. They are all getting inspected, wiped down, lubed as needed, etc. Trying to make something positive happen and not let the news reports spoil my life. Once the handguns are done I'll start on the black powder long guns.

I'm not saying my firearms are sluts, but they seem to respond well to fondling. :D

I find my blood pressure stays low if I do not listen to the news and go shooting or do something related to shooting.
Today I have a PT appt. so I am leaving work early. After my appt. I plan to either take a couple of my revolvers to the range or do some detail cleaning of my Glocks and a couple of my revolvers.

I haven't watched or listened to the "news" since August. The Soviets were right: "There is no news in The Truth and there is no truth in The News." What happened to "America" being a side?

Anyways, yes, I have also been staying otherwise occupied - but with reloading. I've been methodically decapping and cleaning, resizing and cleaning, sorting by HS and condition the accumulated 6K rounds of 9mm casings in my stash. I've got about 3K ready to load and another 1K in process. I may be done April. :) I have about 3K rounds on-hand so, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the casings once their done but put them back into storage. Assuming I can ever buy SPP again, I may load up some heavy 142 gr. hunting loads for the BHP and help my neighbor cull coyotes when his heffers drop calves.

I put one on my 6" Model 66. Now I wish I put the target hammer on it too. I'll probably do that eventually. What I like about them is they help keep your finger in exact same position on the trigger all the time. It's hard to "over-reach" and is really noticeable when you "under-reach". And yes, they are "comfortable".

The only thing you have to watch out for is clearance with holsters. They can drag. Don't want to shoot yourself in the leg when holstering. But for range guns they are great.
