There have been a few posts like this lately.
My interest was peaked.
This morning I began looking in boxes and behind shelves.
I found:
1. Set of lee 300 bo dies
2. 3000 primers (spm and lpm)
3. 500 175 gr SMK's
4. Pound of Varget
5. Pound of auto comp
6. A huge dead spider.(I didn't know they
grew that big in the north east)

I'm happy

I have been going ca-ra-zy because I know I have a full box of Buffalo Bore hard cast wadcutters around here somewhere. The problem is I blame my wife. I never lose my things, if I set it out though for whatever reason it gets carried off. Many many things over the years. Leathermans, knives, etc... but the thing that is driving me bananas is not being able to locate this full box of .38spl BB WC. I don't have alot of .38spl, .380, .32acp so I just want it found so it can go back to its home. Lol.

I opened a long "lost" 50 Cal. ammo box and found 3,000 large and 2,000 small rifle primers. Some from the late 60's the rest from the 70's. I tested the oldest Herter's and Winchester "Staynless" primers. All went bang with no loss of accuracy!

The primers were in little wooden trays!

Smiles,
That’s awesome!

I recently opened a .30 cal ammo can I discovered languishing at the back of my ammo shelf and found it was full of good surplus .30/06 for my Garand.

I totally forgot that I bought it about two years ago.

Stay safe.

So far this past 9ish months I've discovered:
Several 8mm german battle packs prewar.
7.62x39 8M3
A box of Garand clips
A few 7.62x54R 7N1 cases
Box of 8mm mauser/Turk stripper clips.

All from the closet o randomness. It's got so much crud in it, and spiders.

Last time I was at the range I decided to empty all the trash cans and clean the place up a bit (Private Club). On one range I found I found a shopping bag with four or five boxes of 20Ga ammo and a box of 243Win in it. I put out word on the web sight that I found it and no one has claimed it yet.

What this thread tells me is probably most of the posters are a little on the old side, like me, and are starting to lose it. lol

They say the only upside to Alzheimer's is you meet so many new people.
Well, one plus about my slow dementia is getting to sleep with a different woman every night.

No new discoveries, but but during the last panic I found 13 bricks of .22 lr in the back of the hall closet. Some still had the $7.99 price sticker on it.

My wife is constantly moving my stuff. Then I realized she's always moving it towards the door!

Well it wasn't lost but it was buried in one of my totes and I didn't know I had it. 300rds of steel case 9mm in addition to the 9mm ammo I found a few months back that I also didn't know I had. Wouldn't have mattered too much a year ago. Now I'd be jumping up and down about an extra mag full....

Got pulled over this morning. No ticket, but in the process of digging out my registration I unearthed a ziplock of ammo I was given by a former coworker. It’s not much, half a box of 25acp, half a box of 32acp, 6 .270 win, and about 200 loose 22 rimfire of which it’s about 1/2 lr 1/4 mag and 1/4 short. It was leftovers from his dads stuff when his dad passed. He told his family he was going to take it to be properly disposed of.
